Last week, we hosted our annual Easyfairs Academy Awards, an internal online event that brought together our 870 team members from 20 offices 📽🌍
The event recognises each year the extraordinary contributions of our colleagues 🏆

Easyfairs is delighted to announce the acquisition of UK Metals Expo Limited 🌟

Launched in 2022, UK Metals Expo has become firmly established as THE annual event uniting the entire metals supply chain.

The move seamlessly complements Easyfairs’ extensive portfolio of 30+ manufacturing and industrial processing exhibitions across Europe. This melting pot of knowledge, experts, suppliers, technology, and creativity is perfectly placed to serve the industrial community, 365 days a year, and with innovation at its heart.

We are very excited to be working with the entire UK Metals Expo team to grow the event and continue to strengthen its position as the annual focal point for the metals sector.

♻️ Today marks the start of European Week for Waste Reduction. At Easyfairs, waste reduction is one of our 5 priorities to reduce the impact of our events and venues on the environment. Here are some of the steps we’re taking:

📉Since 2018, we’ve achieved a 39% reduction in overall waste across our venues.
🧩 More than 80% of our stands are reusable.
🔄As of 2025, we will complete our transition to recyclable or reusable carpet solutions on all our events.
🚫We’re committed to removing single-use plastic bottles from all catering points by 2025, with a vision to eliminate all single-use plastics by 2030.
📱 In 2023, 72% of our exhibitors reduced paper waste by using our Smart Badge and Visit Connect technologies which allow them to exchange information digitally without using paper brochures or folders.

🌱Each step we take is part of our ongoing mission to reduce waste and promote sustainable practices. Together, let’s work towards a greener future.
