🗣Saturday, it's the Day of Languages in Etterbeek !

📅Don't miss this exceptional day organized on Saturday, January 21 between 11am and 3pm at the Hôtel Communal (avenue des Casernes, 31).
The opportunity to learn calligraphy (from Mandarin and Greek), the history of languages, but also Brazilian and Indian dances.

🤩You will be able to attend performances and participate in various games and even learn Italian!

🥪A small lunch will also be provided.

11:00am-12:15pm: Workshops part 1
12:15-12:45pm: Lunch
12:45-1:30: Workshops part 2
13h30-14h00 : Capoeira dance performance
14h00-14h30 : Workshops part 3
14h35-15h00 : Hip-hop dance performance. Initiation and performance of Indian dance (Bollywood)

On November 17th, things got moving for the In'Etterbeek project!

A meeting was indeed organized at Planchette to allow the members of In'Etterbeek to discover this company which is making its way and to taste, at the same time, some delicious wines 🍷

After the citizen workshops in the spring, the cleanliness forum at the beginning of the summer, the launch of the conversation tables in the autumn, it was time to share a simple and pleasant moment in order to continue our exchanges with the European and non-European Etterbeekers on communal life and thus grow the "In'Etterbeek" community.

The Mayor of Etterbeek, Vincent de Wolf, thanked the service of citizen participation for the organization of this nice activity 😀

🍽 Back to the In'Etterbeek barbecue! This event marked the launch of the second year of this intercultural project which aims to integrate half of the population of our municipality. As a reminder, nearly 50% of Etterbeek's population is of foreign origin and 35% of it comes from a member country of the European Union. 🇪🇺
It was an opportunity to exchange together on the initiatives of the first year of In'Etterbeek during which the Commune informed about the functioning of the administration, organized 3 workshops of citizenship, the forum of cleanliness, the visit of the Hap park, an open day,... 👍

The Mayor, Vincent de Wolf, at the initiative of this project, thanks the participation team for its support in the organization of this event and the presidents of In'Etterbeek: Rafaël Silva and Jablonski Aurélie as well as the entire council for their support in the implementation of this beautiful project. Thanks also to the CouncilofEurope Conseildel'Europe for their funding.

Soon, we will come back on the wine tasting 🍷 at Planchette and the conversation tables that take place on Wednesdays! 🗣
