From a young age, Despina spent her free time baking alongside her grandmother, learning the secrets of the art of pastry. After a few years working as a journalist, she followed her true passion and left her career to fully dedicate herself to the culinary world.

Bringing a wealth of experience from her time at Steigenberger and Màloma comptoir, her desserts are a true delight for all sweet lovers !

Today, we introduce you to one of our producers: .apero! 🥂

Vendredi is a non-alcoholic aperitif made from organic apples and pears from our Belgian orchards. Through natural fermentation with kefir grains, the juices become lightly sparkling and low in sugar, offering a healthy alternative to alcoholic beverages and sodas. 🌿✨

This local project, based in Namur, highlights organic and local ingredients for an authentic and responsible aperitif experience. 🇧🇪🍏🍐

We are happy to have this product among our KTCHN offerings! 🙌 In particular, we offer the lemon verbena recipe, where a decoction of lemon verbena is added to the apple and pear blend, bringing a fresh and slightly lemony flavor. 🍋🌱

We’re sharing you a simple recipe with a seasonal fruit: Apricot Clafoutis 🍑 Ingredients: * 2 apricots * 190g sugar * 30g almond powder * 55g flour * 3 eggs * A bit of vanilla * 550g cream Recipe : *Cut 2 apricots *Add 190g of sugar and 30g of almond powder *Mix *Add 55g of flour and 3 eggs *Mix until you achieve a smooth batter *Add some vanilla and mix *Pour in 550g of cream and mix *Pour the batter into the bowl of apricots *Bake for 30 minutes at 165 degrees Don’t forget to let it chill in the fridge for a day for the best taste Share and enjoy ! #ktchn #ktchncatering #summerdessert #apricotclafoutis #seasonalfruit

In this festive season, the entire KTCHN catering team sends you its warmest wishes with this Supreme WAFFLE BABA recipe 🧇😋 THE INGREDIENTS - Syrup topping: 250 cl water, 125 gr sugar, 5 cl rum (optional), and 1 vanilla pod to be brought to a boil in a saucepan. - Praline paste or peanut butter - Chocolate ganache or melted chocolate - Cherry jam - Mango coulis - Whipped cream with orange zest - Decoration: citrus zest, fresh herbs, peanuts, candied cherries, marshmallows,... - Cuberdon INSTRUCTIONS - Bake the waffle in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes until it becomes crisp. Generously soak it with the cooled syrup topping. - Fill each cavity with toppings of your choice; be creative and feel free to substitute our suggestions with what you like! If you don't have a piping bag, a cut corner of a plastic freezer bag will work perfectly. - Decorate each cavity with citrus zest, fresh herbs, peanuts, candied cherries, marshmallows, or whatever you have on hand. - Heat the Cuberdon in the microwave for 5 seconds, cut the tip, and pour the contents over the waffle.
