Deze unieke locatie deed vroeger dienst als paardenstallen voor de mijn van Winterslag, in Genk. Het rustieke, historische karakter werd behouden en de locatie werd met een moderne insteek omgetoverd tot een architecturaal pareltje, met zicht op de groene mijnterril. De Paardenstallen bieden alle moderne voorzieningen, alsook de nodige horecabenodigdheden. Bovendien wordt alles visueel in de verf gezet door een uitzonderlijke belichtingsinstallatie, zowel binnen als buiten.

Our Story

This unique location was once the stables for the working pit ponies of the Winterslag coal mine in Genk. The fantastic historic and industrial elegance of the building has been painstakingly restored and combined with flourishes of contemporary architecture in its transformation. It is now a beautiful and eye-catching space with views across several elements of the former mine, now an important visitor experience and creative industriepark.

The Paardenstallen (horse stables) offers a chic, modern meeting venue complete with full catering facilities and a stylish lighting installation, both inside and out.

THE BOILERROOM

A perfect meeting room with a pleasant view out onto the former mine’s now landscaped green slopes. The room can comfortably host meetings for up to 20 people.
