While professional wedding photographers are like superheroes, and will always do their best to make the most of the time they have for your portraits, you really don't want to rush through this experience. Trust me.
You wanna give your photographer enough time to bring out the best in you, and more importantly, give YOURSELF enough time, to breathe, relax, and enjoy being in the spotlight! Just enjoy being the beautiful bride you are!😊
If you're not used to being photographed, it will likely take you some time to loosen up and feel comfortable, so please don't give yourself extra pressure by creating a super tight timeline.

Wedding Day Coordination.🤍 and some essentials.

Trusting a total stranger with the coordination of your carefully planned wedding day is a HUGE deal. This person will "run the show" behind the scenes to make sure that everything looks and goes exactly the way you imagined on this important day. This person needs to understand your vision 100%, has to make the right decisions that are in YOUR best interest, needs to know when to intervene and when to let things flow naturally... all based on YOU and your partner!

No two couple and no two weddings are the same. So while timelines and schedule are very important, the real superpower of a great professional ( in my humble opinion 😊 ) is getting to know you well enough to act on your behalf - whatever situation might arise. And doing it all without you noticing anything - is the real magic. 😊

This is exactly why I like to join you on this journey 60 to 30 days before your wedding day. During this time I can get to know you, your vision, your hopes and fears, tricky family dynamics, your priorities and intention, so I can be the best support you need me to be on your wedding day!

Today I'm here to share 5 fun facts about myself, because everybody loves fun facts, right?😄

1. When I was little, I used to look like a boy. Like the exact copy of my big brother –with the same clothes, same haircut and all.

2. I am a giant houseplant freak with 35 pots of plants at home.🤍

3. If I could have a superpower, I would choose to be able to teleport. Hands down, the coolest thing in my opinion. ( Maybe being an expat is making me a tiny bit biased with this one? 😊 )

4. As a kid, I studied to become a professional ballet dancer and performed in pieces such as the Nutcracker and the Swan Lake in the Hungarian National Opera House. This career ended sadly, when I was fired from the Academy for ” being fat “. Ouch.

5. My favourite quote is: ” Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land amongst the stars. “

I'm sure some of you are reading this and going: whattt?😄

The preparation before your wedding ceremony is a very special time, and many of you are looking forward to sharing it with your best friends, opening up that champagne bottle, sharing stories and cranking up the music. And yes, those pictures with your bridesmaids in matching pajamas are adorable, so if this is your vibe: enjoy it to the fullest!🤍

However.😊 If you're the type that would rather enjoy a quiet morning, sipping away at your coffee in peace, and would prefer to be left alone with your thoughts and emotions ~ I'm here to give you permission to get ready without your bridesmaids!🤍 The important thing is to know yourself, and know what will give you the best experience during those hours filled with excitement - and possibly some stress and a little anxiety.😊

I'll let you in on a secret: I didn't even have any bridesmaids, and I choose to get ready with my mum only. And guess what, those are some of my favourite moments of our day.🥰

This one often comes back to bite couples in the ass and can easily become a big regret after their wedding. I believe it's our job to explain, because in all honesty, it's very confusing.😄

For the sake of full disclosure: this will highly depend on the venue that you choose. Some venue coordinators are absolute superheroes and will go above and beyond their duties to support you, and will take care of more tasks than others.🤍 It's very important to have a thorough conversation about this topic with your venue to get those expectations cleared well ahead of time. Couples are oftentimes surprised that a venue coordinator does not necessarily take care of everything they need support with.

So to give you more clarity:
A venue coordinator is hired by the venue, represents and works for the venue, and keeps the best interest of the venue in mind. They open the doors in the morning to let your vendors in and supervise that everyone respects the venue rules during
the day – but generally they are not responsible for doing much more than that.
A wedding coordinator is hired by you, represents and works for you, and keeps your best interest in mind throughout the day. They coordinate your supplier team to assure that everything works out as planned, keep your event on schedule, assist your guests, coordinate your ceremony and reception, handle emergency situations behind the scenes and more. They are the ones running the day for you and can be your biggest support if you'd like to have a stress free wedding day. 🤍

So make sure you understand the difference and inform yourself in advance.😊

The moment you vow to love each other for the rest of your lives.🤍

Declaring your love in front of your friends and family can be the absolute highlight of your ceremony. A moment that's not only special to you, but to everyone that gets to witness it.
However, it can also be a total nightmare for those who don't like to be in the spotlight. The good news is: there's absolutely no obligation, you can share your vows with each other in complete privacy - just between the two of you ( and maybe a photographer, to capture the moment? :) )
You can even write a letter to each other and read it by yourself, or record a voice message that you listen to on the morning of your wedding day. The sky is the limit, and you get to decide what works best for you!😊

Personal story time.🤍 Haven't had one of these in a while.😊

I wanted to share a sensitive part of my life with you, to help you understand the deep motivation behind the personal, supportive and encouraging environment I strive to create when working with my couples.

During my entire childhood and my early adult years I felt like my hard work and achievements defined me as a person and those were the things that made me a valuable human being. Growing up I had lots of influence that made me feel like I'm measured and loved by what I put down on the table, so I kept pushing my boundaries, working harder and harder, trying to prove myself to the people around me.
The time I realized that I am loveable, unique and valuable for WHO I AM gave me all the freedom to live the life I want for myself. I honestly believe that loving yourself will truly set you free.🤍

So during the time I spend with my couples, I want to empower them to be true to themselves. 😊
Nobody should feel like their love is defined by how much they can afford to spend on their wedding or how extravagant their celebration will look, but by the love, the commitment and the unique story they share. I want everyone to understand, accept and love who they are as an individual, as a couple and what their marriage represents, and know that they don't have to pretend to be someone else to be loved. The people who love you for who you are will be there no matter what - and that is the true celebration of love in my eyes.🤍

This is the time to stop people pleasing, and start pleasing the only one that matters: your partner and yourself.🤍😊

Full Service Wedding Planning.🤍 and some misconceptions.

Some people worry that by hiring a wedding planner, they will miss out on the fun of the preparations, and lose control over their own wedding day.
They worry that nobody else will be able to see and execute their vision exactly the way they imagined, so they decide to keep it all to themselves.
I personally think it's perfectly normal if you have difficulties delegating the preparation of such a significant event of your life. Who wouldn't? 😊

However! A wedding planner is not there to take away your joy, or to deprive you of any fun during the planning process. Quite the contrary! 😉

That you can deal with the things that bring you JOY, instead of the overwhelming, stressful and time consuming part of wedding planning. Wedding planners are expensive and only work with couples who have large budgets.

There are lot's of wedding planners out there, but no two are the same.😊
Yes, there are planners that work exclusively in the luxury sector or with celebrities. Others work with a minimum total budget, while some planners focus specifically on the budget conscious or DIY couples. We all have our unique personality and talent that makes us different, and I firmly believe that there's a perfect planner for all of you out there!🤍

Every couple, every story and every wedding is different, so naturally you have your own unique needs when it comes to planning your wedding. Not all of you want or need someone to help with the entire planning process, and that's okey. You just need to find a wedding planner that offers wedding day coordination. Or maybe you only need recommendations, advice and an expert set of eyes to get the ball rolling? Then find someone who offers this assistance for a small fee.

Many of us will work with a variety of wedding budgets and offer diverse packages and services for you to choose from. Our ultimate goal is to find the perfect solution where you get the quality and expert help you need while respecting your financial resources. 😊🤍
