J&M Part 3 – The Civil Wedding

A few days before the grand celebration, J&M’s civil wedding took place, followed by a relaxed walking dinner. For the occasion, we designed a loosely gathered bridal bouquet, blending fragrant garden roses with delicate blooms like sweet peas, astilbe, and campanula—a perfect match for the bride’s chic short dress with its statement XXL bow.

On the high tables small vases, later refreshed and repurposed for the wedding dinner, with matching candles.

J&M Part 1 – Personal Flowers

For J&M’s wedding, we embraced timeless elegance with personal florals that were refined and romantic. The bride carried a compact, round bouquet of fragrant garden roses. The groomsmen’s boutonnieres featured a single, vibrant poppy rose, adding a bold touch, while the groom’s corsage and car piece were designed in softer hues to match the bridal bouquet.

For R&E’s wedding dinner, we embraced the beauty of the season, with an abundance of florals. Lush arrangements featured a mix of textures and tones—statement blooms like dahlias and echinacea paired with delicate cosmos, sanguisorba, and wispy grasses.

R&E Part 1 – A Walking Dinner in a Forest-Inspired Setting

For R&E’s celebration, we wanted to bring the beauty of the surrounding forest indoors, creating a breathtaking, large-scale hanging installation. To ensure it lasted the full five days, we combined hardy greenery that lasts without water with long, natural branches—carefully sourced from the woods and arranged in water sources.

Throughout the tent, we designed lush, garden-like floral arrangements, incorporating moss and an abundance of potted plants to achieve an organic, immersive feel. After the festivities, these plants were rehomed in the family’s garden—a beautiful way to repurpose and create a lasting memory.

Meet Tilly’s

Tilly’s is a floral design studio focused on transforming spaces for large high end weddings and events. We love to work out personalized concepts and work with beautiful seasonal flowers to create the desired atmosphere. Every flower is so unique and every season brings new flowers. What a wonderful product to work with!

Our studio is centrally based in Londerzeel and we work thoughout Belgium and beyond.

Tilly’s consists of me, Mathilde, the founder and lead designer, and a team of experienced florists.

Tilly’s was founded in 2017 after retraining as a florist - during my career as a business consultant. Meanwhile, I continued to refine my skills and took multiple courses with leading florists including Catherine Muller in Paris and Philippa Craddock and McQueens flower school in London, converting my passion into a full-time venture.

Sunset lovers K&M 🌅

Een kleurenpalet gebaseerd op de sunset gecombineerd met groen, dat is de input waarmee we aan de slag gingen.

Een ###L boeket, in een prachtige kruik die ik vond in Spanje, als aankleding van de ceremonie. Deze vond na de ceremonie een plekje aan de dinertent.

Om de groene omgeving binnen te halen in de tent werden er grote bomen geplaatst. Op de tafels werkten we met veel dahlia’s die eind augustus in verschillende tinten oranje en vormen te verkrijgen zijn. Dit in combinatie met de gekleurde kaarsen en de prachtige styling gedaan door maakte het geheel af.

2023! Wat een jaar…

Dankbaar voor de zalige samenwerkingen met event planners met hun over-the-top ideeën, de attentie van de koppels om de dag na hun trouw al een lief dankwoordje te sturen, de prachtige bloemen waarmee ik heb mogen creëren, de fotografen die mijn bloemen zo mooi in beeld hebben gebracht, al de andere leveranciers en niet te vergeten: de helpende handen. Zonder de hardwerkende freelancers en gemotiveerde studenten was dit nooit mogelijk geweest en was het maar een eenzame job. Thanks!🙏

Looking forward to 2024! Vol nieuwe creatieve uitdagingen en bloemenpracht! ✨
