🚀 Vanaf september 2024 werken we samen met Stichting Robin, die zich inzet om kinderen in armoede alle kansen te geven in het onderwijs.

Vanaf het schooljaar 2024-2025 bieden we, binnen de scholen in het Scolarest-segment die als "Robin-school" geregistreerd staan, gezonde maaltijden aan kinderen in armoede tegen een gereduceerde prijs. 🥕🍽️

Wij zijn er trots op om Stichting Robin hierin te kunnen ondersteunen. Samen werken we aan een betere toekomst! 🌟📚

🌱♻️ Compass Group Belgium is on a mission to reduce waste every single day! With Winnow we keep track of how much waste our kitchens toss out, for example at our TotalEnergies Antwerp plant.

🍽️ But that's not all! We're also big on promoting a circular economy. We turn food waste into bio-energy, use recyclable packaging. We team up with local producers like BonMush for their amazing vegetarian and vegan products made from oyster mushrooms!

🏆 Our efforts haven't gone unnoticed! Last week, we won the TotalEnergies Sustainability Award, recognizing our commitment to making the world a greener place.

Incredible! We sold 6,000 eclairs on March 14th! Huge thanks to all the amazing Compass Group Belgium’s kitchens and Vandemoortele Professional for providing the eclairs! 🎉 Every single penny from these profit goes straight to the KickCancer Foundation fund, supporting vital research into childhood cancer.

Workshops covered topics like Sustainability, Menu Planning, HR, and Marketing, allowing our chefs to closely discover the latest developments. 🔍📈

Connecting with HQ colleagues in a vibrant setting is a bonus, fostering a stronger sense of community. 🤝 We concluded the evening with an after-work party. We brought the après-ski vibes to keep the party going strong!

Armonea and Compass Group Belgium are teaming up to bring healthy and sustainable meals to over 9,000 residents across 86 Armonea by Colisee’s residential care centers! 🍽️💚 With a shared commitment to nutritious, balanced, and locally sourced food, Compass Group Belgium will support the talented chefs in each residential care center to craft menus tailored to the residents’ dietary needs. 🥦👵

🌱🥦Together with Compass Group Belgium’s dieticians, the chefs will continue cooking food for the residents with specialized low-sugar or low-sodium diets, or those with swallowing difficulties or diabetes.

📚🎉 Recap of Poetry Week 2024! Exactly one month ago, OLVC Campus Grotenberge Grotenberge and Compass Group Belgium joined hands for a memorable Poetry Contest. The campus resonated with poetic vibes as students shared their verses.

The contest took place during the last week of January 2024. In each grade, a winning poem was selected. Each poem artfully weaves together the intimate bonds of home, love, and the profound moments shared around the dining table. The three winners received a book voucher. Finally, every participant received a delicious pastry.

🍴🌿 Our school cafeteria at Association des Parents d'Elèves de l'Ecole Européenne de Bruxelles II (Evere) just earned its GoodFood.Brussels label! 🏆 Goodfoodbrussels granted our school cafeteria with two forks ! 🍴🍴

This means our kitchen isn't just meeting, but exceeding the mandatory criteria - think organic delights, food waste management, and spreading the word on sustainable food! 🌱💬 Plus, we are complying with some extra optional criteria, showcasing our commitment to going the extra mile!

🚧 Our kitchens and restaurants are currently under construction. We're hard at work shaping these spaces from the ground up, and we're heating up for the grand opening in the end of March 2024.
