ELPEE Café / Live Music Club

ELPEE Café / Live Music Club has -after a series of "maybe not very" insignificant "trolleries"- been physically impacted by an act of cowardness. And this is how they handle it, with dignity and pride. The offender has thus obliged himself to yield, by force or own free will.

Just a quick word to all of our patrons, musicians worldwide, friends and sympathisers who don’t speak Dutch:

I’ve received over 500 messages of support for both Club Elpee and myself. The article at hln.be has been shared several hundred times as well…
I’m very grateful for all of your honest expressions of sympathy and concern, I’m truly speechless. 🖤

Now, you all know I’m no drama queen but this is no small matter. Please forgive me for making just one statement because answering every single message would take several days 😉

This cowardly act in broad daylight put into perspective a series of non-threatening but peculiar incidents in the weeks preceding this attack.
Fortunately I have lots of people in my corner.
Special thanks to the neighbors and Bruno, Kurt and Clercqie for the help yesterday , and to calm me down.

That being said, I just can’t understand why anyone would want to do something like this. Anyone who’s been to Elpee knows how peaceful it is here and you all know I’m a very private person that likes peace and harmony.
I don’t know what drives this guy… is it jealousy or is it some sick obsession? Or maybe it’s just plain vandalism or he’s trying to scare the hell out of me?

Anyway, I’m OK but this will stay with me for a long time. The idea that someone would want to destroy your property or try to get in is pretty creepy. Of course, everyone at Elpee will be on high alert from now on and I don’t give up that easily!
This is MY place, I work my butt off and Elpee has to stay an oasis of fun and relaxation.
I can only hope they catch the guy.

as probably heard all around --> masters of metal had to cancel their tour. some of their shows where canceled and they could not do the rest of the tour. we are very sorry and hope they can make it back to europe one day. as for brighter news. we looked in our own country for the replacement and the lads of AFTER ALL promised to shake ages of metal on its grounds again!! a bit of patriotic feeling on friday night on ages of metal

combitickets zijn uitverkocht (enkel mensen met een lopende bestelling waarvan storting nog moet gebeuren hebben nog recht op een combi) !!

er zijn nog een 150 tal dagtickets beschikbaar voor zowel zaterdag als de vrijdag. deze kan je bestellen op de website. ook liggen er vanaf morgen dagtickets in de VVK punten :

topdisc - torhout
de verlichte geest - roeselare
wall of sound - brugge
pop center - kortrijk

combitickets zullen ook niet meer te vinden zijn in de VVK punten enkel dagtickets

dagtickets kosten 15€ voor de vrijdag en 30€ van de zaterdag en is geen camping inbegrepen.

150 stuks nog te gaan van deze dagtickets dus vlug zijn is de boodschap.

combitickets zijn bijna uitverkocht. indien je nog een combiticket wenst bestel ze nog vlug op de site www.agesofmetal.be
er zullen wel nog genoeg dagtickets beschikbaar zijn voor beide dagen. dagtickets geven wel geen op een plaats op de camping. en je zal ook in totaal 45 euro betalen in plaats van 40 euro voor het combiticket. the choice is yours. maar uitverkoop is nakend voor de combitickets!
