On Saturday 26 October 2024, from 11:00 to 17:00, the Record Memory Club will organise its 9th big record fair at the Excelsior hall in Jette.
To distinguish itself from the other fairs, but also to reflect the specific tastes of the majority of the members, the theme will be the 78 rpm (1890's - 1950's).

A great number of musical styles of this long period will be represented: Opera - Jazz - R'n'B - Latin - Tango - Song - Yodel - Bebop - Music hall - Dance band - Swing manouche - Rock'n'Roll - Country - Small art - Biguine - Rumba - World music - Curiosities - etc.
At the fair you will also find gramophones, phonographs, cylinders, CDs and vinyls reeditions, scores, books, photographs and various documents.

Free entrance. Stand of 2 meters is 15 euros for members, 20 euros normal price

👉TIP van De Gebroeder op 78 toeren/ 78RPM DJ: Vandaag kan je gaan genieten van een schone voorstelling bij de vrienden van STOKT. Zij nodigen Ief Gillis van De Wenkbrauwerij uit met zijn POSTKANTOOR. Ief is voor velen wel bekend als Postino van Iedereen beroemd.

👉Een nostalgische vertelling over de kracht en schoonheid van een geschreven brief of postkaart. De geboorte van het internet in 1969 is intussen de ondergang van echte communicatie geworden.

👉De voorstelling duurt 25 minuten en speelt om 14u00, 15u00 en 16u00. Van 13u00 tot 17u00 kan je ook terecht in de gezellige Buurtbar.
5 euro voor de voorstelling. Vooraf inschrijven is niet nodig.
