🌱 Soy much fun at the Round Table on Responsible Soy! 🌱

On 19 and 20 November, the stunning Oude Vismijn in Ghent was transformed into a hub of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability as Event Masters had the privilege of organising the Round Table on Responsible Soy.

With participants from across the globe, the event fostered meaningful discussions about the future of soy and its role in building a sustainable world. From engaging panels and vibrant networking moments to a picture-perfect setting by the water, the atmosphere was both inspiring and productive.

As the PCO team, we focused on every detail – from logistics to ambience – to ensure this event reflected the passion and purpose of the participants. Seeing ideas and connections bloom over these two days was truly rewarding!

A big shout-out to the RTRS team for trusting us with this mission, and to all the attendees for their commitment to making the soy industry more responsible. Of course, we couldn't have done it without our partners: Swing, Duvall, and Gourmet Invent. Here's to growing together, sustainably! 🌿

More than 1800 visitors, 114 booths and 16 breakout sessions – Proximus Think NXT 2024 was nothing short of extraordinary!

This year, Nekkerhal in Mechelen was transformed into a 18,000m² hub of innovation and collaboration. Over two days, thousands of experts and innovators gathered to dive into the latest advancements in AI, 5G, cybersecurity, and digital sovereignty. Highlights included Belgium’s first AI artist, Marcy Cortega, who took the stage on 526m² of LED screens, and an interactive Experience Zone where 40 tech specialists showcased hands-on solutions.

But that’s not all. Behind the scenes, it took 4,000m² of mesh fabric, 20km of scaffolding, 700m of truss, and the hard work of 30 hostesses, 25 Event Masters colleagues and freelancers, +100 crew members, and countless partners to bring this massive event to life.

🥉 Bronze BEA Award Winner 2024 🥉

Event Masters has won a bronze BEA Award in the category Institutional Events – this time for our work on Velo-city 2024! This international conference transformed the City of Ghent into a vibrant hub for sustainable mobility, bringing twqsogether more than 1600 experts from around the world.

We want to thank everyone who made this event possible; our partners, Stad Gent, and of course our dedicated PCO team. Together, we crafted a truly remarkable experience that went far beyond just organising a conference; history was made, and the bar has been set higher for all future editions of Velo-city.

This was the biggest, most global, and most sustainable Velo-city ever, and it was an absolute milestone for both the cycling community and Event Masters as a conference organiser.

Here’s to creating even more events that inspire change, anaedd leave a positive mark on the world.

The 24th edition of the Travel Awards took place on Friday, 15 November, in the iconic Skyhall at Brussels Airport. Organised by TRAVelMedia Belux and powered by Event Masters, this event, known as the “Oscars of the Belgian travel industry”, welcomed 900 guests to honour the very best in the sector.

With 35 awards, mesmerising performances by ZEM and Brussels Young Adult Choir ,exceptional catering by Gourmet Invent, stunning AV support by BlueMoon, and live music from FM Air and DJ Pierre Madalin, it was truly a night to remember.

What a fantastic way to kick off FY25! Reflecting on the past year's achievements while setting the stage for future plans must have been both motivating and insightful. The challenge to learn violin basics in an hour sounds like a creative way to inspire teamwork and adaptability—a perfect metaphor for mastering new skills as you head into 2025.

And finishing with a candlelit exquisite dinner at Sint-Pietersabdij Gent, followed by a party in the catacombs, definitely created a truly memorable experience. Here’s to a successful year ahead—filled with collaboration, growth, and perhaps a few more musical surprises.
