Our Story
As days go by, the Brazilian DJ João Pedro is becoming more and more part of his alias Traffic Jam, a synonymous to house music filled with groove, repertoire and personality. His first contact with electronic music happened in the most famous playground in Brazil: Warung Beach Club. Then, the Radiola collective came as a natural evolution of the passion for music shared by the group of friends, and João is part of the label since the beginning.
The name “Traffic Jam” first came about in a partnership with another Radiola member: through the project, the two friends sought to create music so invigorating that it could turn even a traffic jam into a pleasant moment. As the years passed, João Pedro has maintained a solo project, and has been fulfilling his mission with an unparalleled ability to perceive sensations of the dancing crowd. This characteristic led him to be booked in the most incredible dancefloors in the country and in the world, such as Warung, Beehive, D-Edge, Club Vibe, Colours, Levels, Amsterdam Dance Event and in cities such as London and Barcelona.

João Pedro não nasceu Traffic Jam, mas vem se tornando cada dia mais parte deste codinome, que hoje é sinônimo de house music com groove, repertório e personalidade. O primeiro contato do curitibano com a música eletrônica aconteceu no playground mais famoso do Brasil: o Warung Beach Club. Foi da paixão da turma de amigos pela música no “templo” que nasceu o coletivo Radiola, do qual João faz parte desde o início.
