On the 15 July 2020, Nyangabwe Hill Arts Hub, an artistic creative space in Francistown, Botswana hosted an official site visit of the town’s leadership and business community, stakeholders and musicians and artists representatives unions. The arts hub initiative is a brain child of Mr Ngwisiwa Ntogwa, who is a cultural arts ambassador, Director of the renowned Tjilenje Tje Ngwao Cultural Group and Founder of the annual Nyangabwe Hill Cultural Festival.
The venue site visit was organized so that the stakeholders can appreciate it and hear the planned developments firsthand amid the Covid 19. It was also for the purpose of showing our stakeholders the challenges that we are facing in the development of the venue.
Attendees included representatives from the offices of the City of Francistown Town Clerk, MYSC, FCTVE, BAC, STANDARD CHARTERED, THE VOICE NEWSPAPER, BOPA, MUSUBU, BOMU, NYANGABWE HOSPITAL, JUBILEE CLINIC, CHIDZANANI PHARMACY, PELOTELELE WARD DEVELOPMENT, FRANCISTOWN WEST CONSTITUENCY.
The site visit was very productive as important issues concerning the support, development of the arts sector was discussed.
