The Pitso is an event designed to empower Batswana with sourcing and procurement basic knowledge in the areas of compliance, financing, pricing, contractor registration systems and sourcing and procurement as a whole. The event is set to bring together Mining Com

panies, Parastatals, Government Ministries and Departments, and the Private sector to share insights, knowledge, and best practices on sourcing and procurement. The Pitso will be held at the CBD and will conclude with the first ever Gaborone Sourcing & Procurement Awards, where the ministry of labor and DreamBox Media (Pty) Ltd will award companies/organizations for their contribution towards job creation, economic impact and empowering Batswana.
