Bonyana Rantsebele(aka Rakgadi), a proud 50-year-old single parent from Mmadinare, is the heart and soul behind KwaRakgadi Eatery. With a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Botswana and more than 20 years of experience in customer service and administration, Bonyana has had an impressive career. She spent 9 years with Metropolitan Botswana and served as a Client Relations Officer at AFA from 2010 to 2021.

But Bonyana’s true passion has always been cooking. A self-taught culinary artist, she decided to turn her passion into a profession after facing unemployment. Despite the challenges of the past two years, she has found her happy place in the kitchen. KwaRakgadi Eatery is more than just a business for her—it’s a dream come true.

Though the journey has been tough, Bonyana remains hopeful and is driven by her love for what she does. Let’s give it up for Rakgadi guys👏
