Dear Parents,

You all gotta stop disrespecting your adult children and expecting them to stay quiet because you’re their parent.
If you’re disrespecting your child as an adult expect your child to respond AS AN ADULT. The parent card can’t be played when you want to play it. It can be a respectful conversation or it can be disrespectful; you pick.

Respect is earned and mutual but nobody is ready for this conversation. Hence there's Susu Ilela Suswana. Don' not normalize disrespecting others then get shocked when they reflect back what you raised them on.Do the best you can and teach your children manners and model a way to express anger ,frustrations,displeasure..in a respectful and healthy way.
This way you are able to both show each other respect in the ways you communicate ,argue,agree to disagree.
