WHAT’s YOUR STORY?

Ours is simple. Many moons ago, the Native journey began on a Sofia couch; what many of us would remember as “couch ya Bo nkuku” that was usually covered up in many cloths, and you’d earn yourself a beating if you were caught with either your feet on in it, or sitting carelessly.

Ms. Sofia is a constant reminder of what interior and furniture once was, where the Native dream stemmed from and just how much furniture has evolved, which is why we found it fitting to have her present at our Marketing Symposim Engagement Booth, along with modern furniture, in-house produced pieces and various texture elements, all of which have contributed to our story across the decade.

We pay attention to detail, go against the grain every chance we get, but most importantly, we remain conscious of our roots. We hope you got to know us a lil’ better as we interacted and shared our stories and thank you for being vulnerable enough to share yours on our interaction wall and in-person. Let’s keep in touch!

REST IS FUEL TO THE CREATIVE MIND

Our dedication to delivering exceptional quality is matched by our commitment to our team's well-being. To honor this, we’re taking a much-needed break from August 1st to August 12th, 2024.

This time will be devoted to reflecting on our projects, taking stock and maintaining of our inventory, and most importantly, allowing our team to rest and recharge.

TO SHARE FIRE IS TO SHARE LIFE 🌅

We also had the honor of setting up a cosy sundowner session for Mogolo le Bagolo to enjoy as they shared fire to appreciate the beautiful Sua Pan sun as it set, leaving behind memories of shared warmth and the timeless beauty of the Pan 🌅✨

Adage to our speciality, we went with RUSTIC furniture and lanterns to enhance the mood. With that we say, Happy President’s Holidays. Enjoy a much deserved rest from the weekend’s festivities.

A NATIVE PRODUCTION IN THE SANDS: A 1KM STRETCH OF ART

We spent 2 days in the Pan manufacturing a 1KM stretch to be filled with art in all its forms: Visual art, Pottery, Meditation, Graffiti, Bead Work, Crotchet, Fashion Design, Photography and so much more.

To every artist, support system, vendor and attendee of this year’s MAKGADIKGADI EPIC, thank you for being our reason to complete the 1KM stretch. We are because of you!

Once again: THAT’S SO NATIVE! We love a good challenge, and this was exactly that!
