Why? So many of them these days.

I know that I promised an update on the happening of Howesclere for the rest of the season, but I’ve been struggling to put something together. I recorded it, but then after felt so odd because it felt too joyful. We have so many exciting things to share, but at the same time we have a very difficult situation unfolding for our family.

And this morning the only thing that I can say is “why?” Why, why , why… a thousand times why? When you have beautiful people in your life it hurts extra hard when you have to start asking “why?”.

This song is carrying me through these days. Our Dinner in Bloom will be our last event of the 2025 season. I’ll give an update soon, it’s just not now. I look at these blooms and I’m reminded, wow, life is so beautiful and delicate. And counting blessings remedy the stings of life.

Thank you Lord for all the blessings.

Why? So many of them these days.

I know that I promised an update on the happening of Howesclere for the rest of the season, but I’ve been struggling to put something together. Flowers are not ment to last, they are ment to help us stay in the present. A bloom never lasting longer than it’s supposed to. Setting seed for the next generation.
A fleeting life much to the likes of our own.
We bloom in our own unique time, perfectly in unison to the nourishment and love bestowed upon us. Fading when we feel confident enough to transfer our wisdom on.
What do we sow in this life but hope and dreams?
