Hello friends,
In the firm belief that nothing says Christmas quite like choir and brass, Valley Festival Singers is thrilled to announce our upcoming Christmas concert, “Hark! Rejoice! with Brass & Voice” We’re partnering with Free Range Brass, a local professional brass quintet. Their talent is remarkable and they will bring warmth and majesty to our exciting program. Perfect for lovers of music & Christmas of all ages to enjoy together!

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

A programme full of incredible music with something for everybody: Jazz, Gospel, Renaissance, 20th Century, your favourite Christmas tunes and SO much brass.
Repertoire highlights include: Christmas Cantata – Daniel Pinkham, Ave Maria – Biebl, Bruckner, Sweet Little Jesus Boy – arr. Larry Nickel
Opportunities to sing along to carols and the Hallelujah Chorus!
Under the direction of Rob Workman, the choir is accompanied by pianist Betty Suderman & Free Range Brass!

JOIN US THIS FALL!
Since 1976, Valley Festival Singers of Abbotsford, BC has been a choir every community would be proud to claim as their own.
Performing a wide repertoire of music, Valley Festival Singers is comprised of skilled singers of all ages united by their love of singing and joy of sharing choral music.
This accomplished choir is presently looking to add a few singers within each section to its numbers this fall. Rehearsals occur on Monday evenings (Sept > April) from 7:00 to 9:15pm at St Matthews Church, 2010 Guilford Dr., Abbotsford.

Great dress rehearsal last night for our "Requiem: Life, Love & Loss" concerts this week-end with Rob Workman directing the combined choral forces of Valley Festival Singers & Gloria Dei Chorale, Calvin Dyck's orchestra and our dynamic soloists!

Valley Festival Singers

What began over 40 years ago in the Spring of 1976 by Abbotsford choral conductor Rudy Baerg has grown to become a choir every community would be proud to claim as their own. The Valley Festival Singers of Abbotsford, BC is a choir where community happens.

Mutli-generational, the Valley Festival Singers is comprised of adult singers of all ages. The common thread is their love of singing and their joy is sharing choral music.
