Now the wedding season begins and I am happy that couples
can now plan their vision for their wedding day. A simple or a full
wedding ceremony, the ceremony should be as unique as the couple.
As Life-Cycle Celebrants we believe in the power of ceremony for all
milestones in life and are therefore coached in the art of creating, writing
and performing unique wedding ceremonies that express the love
relationship of the couple.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the gofundme for Kairo organized by Nicole Conklin. For those who don't know, my Great Grandson Kairo was born on February 19th, 2021. He was put on life support and later found to have no living cells in his liver. He is in need of a liver transplant. He and my Grandson were flown to Toronto by medical plan a few weeks ago. Eventually, mommy and my Great Grandson, Kieran joined them. They are all together waiting for a liver for Kairo. The donations have been a Godsend. This is a very emotional time and a strain on them financially as they live and work in British Columbia.
Blessing and hugs to all,
Marilyn

Many couples are planning their special day with the hope of having their dream wedding with all their loved ones and friends in attendance.
Before sending out invitations or save the day, please check the health restrictions in BC.
One couple expressed their officiant said there won't be a problem as we will all be vaccinated by the summer. Again, please check the restrictions so you are not disappointed.

An end-of-life ceremony service is for those who are left behind to grieve. There is a hope that doing so will bring possibly some closure and acceptance to the death of a loved one.
A "good" ceremony should contain all the elements that completely and accurately give reverence to the life and times of the person (s) who lived, loved and experienced life.

As Certified Life-Cycle Funeral Celebrant, I come to the table with no agenda, no preconceived notion of what the ceremony should or must look like. Instead through careful interviewing and thoughtful process, elicits what is meaningful for each client.

Dr. Henry is hopeful by summer the numbers allowed for weddings will increase however, probably only to the levels we had last summer. Then Adrian Dix said "if you are expecting international travelers, don't plan on them being able to travel here".
