Now that Fall is around the corner, I find thoughts turn to decorating the stoop to correspond with the season

But do you need to stick with the traditional colours, or can you go outside of the box and decorate with your own colour preference?

Yesterday at the Market, I helped a customer choose a mum and pumpkins for her small space porch.
Her home is grey tones, and she likes white .....so viola !!!

A white garden mum, white pumpkin and one of our grey pumpkins ties everything together ❤️

So what is your preference?

So here we are, back in the ring again.
This time it's for the UKI Canadian Nationals
4 days of intensive competition with dogs and handlers from all over Canada and the US

And yes, this means I won't be at the this Saturday

If you're looking for a flower fix, our flower stand is stocked with beautiful bouquets.

Thank you to all our wonderful Customers who braved the elements and came to our market today.

It is wonderful people like you who make farming worthwhile.

All too often I pull my exhausted body in for the night wondering why I farm, then I see my corn on the ground after a bad windstorm and wonder why I farm, or I just want to throw in the towel when I feel like I'm losing the battle with the weeds, slugs, snails, rabbits, or when I realize the seeds I got were not what I ordered only after they've sprouted into seedlings ....

But then I see the smiles on your face and your cheerful good mornings, even though it's pouring out, and I realize you've come for my veggies & flowers and suddenly all those farming frustrations are gone and I think to myself " YES " it is all worth while 😊

So Thank You
You really are the best !!!!

It's Corn Season 🤗

A BIG SHOUT OUT to my daughter Jenn and her pup Nyxie who placed 4th overall at the AAC National competition this past weekend in Ontario.

So proud of you to achieve such outstanding placement after a rough start to the competition

Red Romaine has the same vitamins and nutrients as Green Romaine and is a good source of anthocyanins, an antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables that are dark red or purple.

It's also delicious 🤗

This is our new composting system
After major researching, I decided to go with 's method ( out of the UK)

We have built the bins out of pallet wood, lasagna layer each bin with fresh greens & carbon ( dried grasses, wood chips, cardboard), cover and let cook.

After 2 months, our first bin was ready to be flipped. It will then stay there till spring. Then used for the new seeding, and beds.
Sometimes it pays to do your homework 👍

Now to build more bins 🤣

Today was a major practise day for the team. The morning we were in the field; afternoon in the event ring. In the evening.... A really nice team dinner at a local creperie where I had the best dinner crepes ever 🤗 It was nice to see the team put aside their tensions of the looming competition and relax, laugh and have FUN !!!! Day 14 of Mom's, Jenn's, Nyxie's Excellent European Adventure and that's a wrap 🙌🙌🙌 7 days and it all boiled down to this last run for Jenn and as you can tell, it was a clean sweep 🙌🙌🙌🙌 I am sooooo proud of my girl.... Placing 10th overall in her category of 60 dogs from 11 other countries; on a Canadian team who walks away with 14 metals overall... Not bad for the first time at World's 🤗 Well we have made some wonderful friendships, learned some new customs, had a few "firsts" on a few things, laughed, cried, and have bonded even closer since we have been on our Excellent European Adventure... But alas tomorrow we head home. Day 10 & 11 of Mom's, Jenn's, Nyxie's Excellent European Adventure finds out days filled with long days and major competition This was the Snooker run that Jenn was not always friends with. I can almost say it was a total dislike. Yet here at World's, she placed 11 in her division. Day 10 of Mom's, Jenn's, Nyxie's Excellent European Adventure and it suddenly got real !!! After a beautiful opening Ceremony, it was right into the first agility jumps This was the course and Jenn's first run. I have never seen her so nervous. Considering over half the competitors were eliminated on their first run, I know she did pretty good 💗 Points will be added up over the next 5 days so fingers crossed. Day 8 of Mom's, Jenn's, Nyxie's Excellent European Adventure now finds us where we need to be. For those who don't know... Jenn and Nyxie won a spot on Team Canada for IFCS World Agility Open competing in Collingwood UK. Today was their first practise day and I must say.... they're looking pretty good. I cannot believe how fast Nyxie has become since I last saw her run. Tomorrow will be another practise day but this time at the venture. Then starting Wed the competition at the world level begins. They have received well wishes from admirers from Amsterdam to Nottingham With that much luck being passed on who know.... WILDE WUNDER GARDENS IS A FAMILY RUN FLOWER FARM that prides itself on the care and attention it puts into growing each and every flower.

The main farm is situated in the fertile Fraser Valley of southern B.C... This 2+ acres grow a variety of Dahlias, Perennials, and Annuals that make up our beautiful bouquets.

The NORTHERN EDITION is located in Prince George and is in it’s second year of production.
