Why the yellow button?✨
As we near the Christmas season, and my grinch trees head out the doors to people all around, I wanted to take a moment to share with you the purpose of the yellow button you will find on EVERY grinch tree that leaves my workshop. These yellow buttons represent each tree’s contribution to our mission to provide gifts for the kiddos spending Christmas in the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Our family is coming close to celebrating our oldest son’s remission of 7 YEARS for a rare form of childhood kidney cancer, Wilms Tumor. Since his diagnosis, my company mission has been to give back as much as possible to those who need it most.
When I first started, my loved grinch trees were able to gift toys to the children in the Unit at the Hospital that holds a very special place in the hearts of my family - the Oncology unit. This has since evolved to include EVERY CHILD on EVERY UNIT who will spend Christmas at the Alberta Children’s Hospital this Year!
This Christmas, if you are able, purchase one of my grinch trees (that last for months!), and not only support local- but also gives a gift to the little fighters within a quick drive from us!💛💚❤️
