2023 season here we come! We're looking to add a passionate person to our events team who thrives on making a difference in somebody’s day and provides an exceptional guest experience.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Events of Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility, the Events Assistant is a seasonal part-time position that will assist the Events Team in providing our clients and guests with an exceptional event experience. The Events Assistant will work closely with the Venue Coordinators to ensure each event is flawlessly executed.

Today is employee appreciation day and we're sending 1000 thanks to ALL of our AMAZING teams who work so hard, day in and day out, to provide the best experience for our guests.
As a service based business our employees are truly the key to our success. 🗝
During our busy months we have over 250+ people working with us, and do they ever work hard. Days here are anything but 9-5, people are constantly coming and going from cutting the grass and pulling carts out for tournaments at 5am to our hospitality and culinary teams staying up to the wee hours cooking and serving for events.
A BIG THANK YOU to all of our employees, client facing and behind the scenes teams - we really have so much to thank you for‼️

Introducing Deer Creek!

Today officially marks the launch of our new logo, new website and new name and we are SO excited to finally share this milestone moment with you!

The rebrand reflects our mission, and long-term strategy for growth. We are investing in the community making Deer Creek a year-round destination for golf, weddings, special events, dining, and entertainment. As part of the rebrand, we’re connecting our brands under one logo. Salem Ridge Golf Academy will now be Deer Creek Practice & Performance Centre.

Deer Creek has invested over six million dollars into an interior and exterior renovation of our wedding and event facility which was completed in the summer of 2020. This rebrand marks the second stage of our transformation with more to come. Our guests can look forward to more enhancements, including improvements to the golf course.

The vision started back in 1958 with the first home Jerry Coughlan built, continued in 1968 with his passion and love for golf opening Glen Cedars and expanded his golf dream with Deer Creek in 1989, and Salem Ridge in 1997.

Next month will mark 2 years since our beloved founder passed. We continue each day to carry on his legacy.
