The rain taps softly against the window as you wrap your hands around a warm cup of tea. It’s one of those days—gray skies, a never-ending to-do list, and a heart that feels just a little heavier than usual.

Then, the doorbell rings.

You open it to find a burst of color—petals in vibrant hues of pink, orange, and yellow, radiating warmth like a long hug from a dear friend. The Colors of Friendship bouquet. Suddenly, the day doesn’t feel so dull anymore. A reminder that beauty still blooms, even on the rainiest of days.

Because sometimes, all we need is a little color to brighten the gray. 🌸✨

I remember when we first started—just a humble little setup on the side of Fraser Highway, selling flowers to brighten someone’s day. No big shop, no grand plans—just a love for blooms and a desire to bring something special to our community.

But behind the scenes, it wasn’t just about selling flowers. In those early days, I spent endless hours reading personal development books, hiring coaches, and working through every workbook I could get my hands on—anything to help me stay on track and turn a dream into something real. Growth wasn’t just about the business; it was about my mindset, too.

Let's RECAP this week!
Last day in Italy, I spent in Treviso and made thank you cards for all the family members who made my trip so special ❤️
We had one of the biggest dinners I have had in years in my honor, for pizza! I ordered champagne and found out later, "we only drink beer with pizza," lol 😆
Then it was off to the flight, I didn't cry... no, not the entire drive from the house to the airport, then some more on the plane.
Then, from the airport to the dealership and then to my new home, I had 2 days to get my life in order so I could be fresh fed and feeling good to run the team on Wednesday!
We welcomed in a bunch of fresh and beautiful blooms, local bc beauties!
I made a last-minute decision to grab some bells of Ireland for St Patricks Day bouquets 💐
Met the new team member we onboarded while I was away, trained him, and we started planning Easter and mothers Day!
Scheduled, ordered, planned, and prepared 😌
Checkiddy check check ✔️
I am stuck between wanting to rest and wanting to run!!! There are so many incredible projects I'm working on!
First, our spring feature items the Blooming Baskets are already making their debut on the online store.
Second, I sent our loyalty cards for printing! I can't wait to get all our loyal clients signed up and collecting stamps for free bouquets!
Third, I've got 4 other projects for the shop I'm holding under my hat for now, if you want more behind the mind of my wild ideas you gotta be on the newsletter cuz last week I dropped some ideas and I'm spilling the tea on the rest I have in the works this Tuesday.

PS! dropped off some mushrooms at the shop, and I made the most AMAZING mushroom pad Thai
I did my dishes with fresh flowers in one of my grandmas vases as inspiration
And in just a few hours it a new week, so like in the wizard of Oz, I'll click my heals, "there's no place like home."

Today It's not about me..
It's my team!
has really been taking the lead designing, and this arrangement was by far one of my favorites 😍
Bold and vibrant with that wild flair of the bells of Ireland, Curly Willow, and Wax Flower!
Seeing her designs grow and her confidence increase has been such a joy!
Plus, while I was in Italy, she onboarded our newest staff member, Leo. When I got back in the shop, he asked for more hours, so I told him we could train him to run delivery.
I will say I was a little nervous, but at the core of this young man, I knew he wanted to do everything perfectly 👌
He helped us in the shop, ran the days deliveries, and then headed home.
About an hour later, we got a call from the recipient. She was overwhelmed by the care and attention he took to ensure she had all the knowledge about the flowers.
"Most delivery people drop the package and run, but your young man made sure everything was perfect"
She couldn't stop telling me how sweet he was, oh, and the flowers she said! They were just stunning! The best she's ever seen!
As a leader, I coach ALOT! Pointing out every aspect from flowers to verbiage and everything in between.
My team gets a confidence boost to go out and give world-class customer service, and today, I couldn't have been proud of my people!
Scaling has been the most challenging thing I've ever tried to do, and I've made lots of mistakes.
But my greatest win is when the Values we train on are executed, and it makes a difference in someone's life.
That is what it means to "Uplift, Inspire & Create a Beautiful World!"

There's nothing I love more than an abundance of flowers to create with! . When Raffaella told me we were headed out to see the sights and maybe do some walking, i thought I'd be in for a promenade through the countryside! . Little did i know we would hike a mountain, then because she is just as free of a spirit as i am she would follow me down a trail and we would get lost in the rolling olive hills of italy. . One thing led to another, and we were trampeling down the hill surrounded by succulents, lemon trees & wild spring flowers! . From the primulas of the countryside to the hyacinths outside, a cute shop flowers are popping up all around me, and adventure precedes every step! . Every day feels like a dream, and my phone is overwhelmed with content 😅 .
