Do you like to laugh, keep busy, and test out delicious baked goodies? You might be just who we’re looking for!

We are looking for a part-time (15-20 hours/week) server to join our close-knit team. The role includes a combination of table and counter service, preparing drinks, operating our point of sale system, washing dishes and maintaining a clean and welcoming space. No specific experience is required, only a positive, approachable attitude and a willingness to learn.

Tea & Cake, established in 2017, is an award winning tea room located in the heart of Almonte. We are a small but busy shop that is looking for someone who is comfortable working closely with others and is quick to adapt to fast moving situations.
 
Hourly wage is $17.70/hour to start, and tips are shared evenly among the team. Regular work hours fall between 8am-5pm, with the possibility of an occasional evening for catering. Shifts will include a combination of weekdays and weekends.

Access to your own transportation is a must, as there is no public transit to Almonte.
