LOVE: The story of Chalet Studio began in Kindergarten. A young girl settled her eyes on a boy across the playground. It was love at first sight. From childhood infatuation into a relationship of mutual support, respect and adoration, Janet and Alan have built their lives and career around love. Love of each other, nature and the beautiful planet we all share. LIFE: To say that Alan and Janet "love life" is a bit of an understatement. They love to seek out beauty, adventure and culture in our world. They have a knack for taking the moments in life, and putting a fun spin on them. This positive energy and approach to life marries perfectly with their role as professional photographers who capture the moments in the lives of their clients.

THE DREAM: Chalet Studio Photography & Gardens was born on May 1st 1987. The idea from the beginning was to have a Home, Studio and Portrait Gardens in one great location. A place where as soon as you arrived, you knew this was something special. A place to relax, slow down, forget the stresses of the day, have fun and create memories to last a lifetime.

THE PERFECT LOCATION: Janet and Alan teamed up with nature to realize their dream. In 1995 they found the perfect piece of land and built their dream home and studio. Their scenic gardens are filled with beautiful areas including a stunning waterfall, pond, streams, pathways, antiques gates, vintage settings and architecture from around the world .

Indoors they have a spacious stunning studio. Its filled with beautiful areas to suit every desire. With numerous real architectural pieces they can create many different looks that you will love all in one place.
