I was gonna comment about repurposing ceremony florals to your reception, but I just really love the candid pic of this wedded couple. I love when photographers capture great candids. 📸 credit to:

Yesterday’s two weddings were fabulous! The blooms came from everywhere. The backyard and ditch blooms, locally grown ones from and and the globally grown from . . . I love when all these stems come together to make the bouquets for special ladies.
Enjoyed the cool part of the day foraging some ditch blooms . . .

Quick Tip!
As you're picking out bridesmaid dress colours and chatting with your florist, please DO NOT get yourself focused on matching parts of the bouquets with the dress colours. Why you ask? Because look at how all of these colour tones and textures pop against this gorgeous dress!
This photographer captured so much excitement in this lovely bride's face. Not only did I feel that excitement when I seen these photos, but I also felt joy and I honestly started to bawl! The look in her face was validation for me that I created what she had hoped for and what she had envisioned for her big day. These photos mean so much to me because of that. Being in this industry puts me through so many emotions. I usually start out the week fairly calm, I check in on my orders and supplies I need. Then Wednesday rolls around and I'm a bit nervous because that's flower arrival day and sometimes things show up a bit "meh". Luckily with the local flower farms these days, I don't have to worry as much as I used to! But then Thursday and Friday are design days and I am in my element and loving life, genuinely loving having my hands on each stem. Friday evening, more anxiety sets in, I usually have a restless night as I second guess my design and my abilities and wonder if the lovely couples will love what I have created or if they will be disappointed in me. Then wedding day usually comes and goes in a blur, I usually get a relaxing text from the Bride expressing how much she loves her flowers (phew!). Then I get to relax again until the following week's wedding flowers roll into my workspace. Maybe some people would say that at this point in my business, I should probably have all the confidence in the world and the anxious feelings shouldn't exist anymore. But they do, and I'm okay with that. It tells me that I am giving my all to each individual wedding that I am asked to be a part of. And, these photos, are the reminders for me that my passion does not go unnoticed.
Soft, delicate and locally grown...these wedding flowers had a timeless and classy feel.
Caught in the act giving this fresh wedding arch some extra moisture to last in the summer heat. So much thought goes into wedding creations, from the mechanics that I need to ensure that a gust of wind doesn't ruin the design to knowing what blooms will hold up and not be wilted before you walk down the aisle. Trying to make all of my designs foam free and single use plastic free has been a commitment of mine the past few years. I am continually finding webinars and other educational resources to expand my knowledge on more biodegradable and earth friendly ways to design.
Beeswax taper candles on wedding tables? Yes please!
What a gorgeous touch to this head table along with the fresh greenery garland, cute chairs and arch arrangements.
Did you know that I have been lucky to work with 3 local flower farmers the past couple of years? They have already been planting and caring for thousands of seedlings for us all to enjoy in a few months!
I'm often asked what do the sweet little flower girls want on the wedding day. Still very popular is tossing something...but why just toss rose petals? How about some foraged and dried bits and pieces? Good for the environment, plastic free and makes those littles happy and feeling important before walking down the aisle.

Sound on to hear the birdies chirping. I love birds that stay far away from me but still sing their song. (I’m not much of a bird lover). But, I’m definitely a lover of this bouquet! #bridalbouquet #bride #locallygrown #prairiewedding #grainelevator
I started following this lady last night on TikTok, amazing story, amazing lady! Have a great day everyone . . . #bekind
