Trash Hunt Schedule:
►9:00 Welcome & Kit Pick-up - Meet at the Arnprior Museum to pick up your Trash Hunt kit and your saplings 🌱
►9:15 Let The Hunt Begin - Areas of need will be mentioned, but you’re welcome to clean any public property 🗑
►11:00 BBQ - Drop off your finds in our trailer and join us for a complimentary celebratory BBQ 🌭
► 11:45 Community Prizes 💝 Each participant will be entered in a raffle for prizes provided by local businesses! Plus prizes for the Best Trash Find!
►12:00 The End!

Camp Wanna-Go is a summer day camp that operates 8:30am-3:30pm from Monday to Friday. Each week has a theme ranging from arts to sports to world travel and more. This camp is for ages 4-10 and has a mix of structures and unstructured activities led by trained and experienced summer staff.

Originally developed for Dartmouth Heritage Museum's Quaker House, A Society of Friends explores how the Quaker movement has called for alternatives to violence; another case study of presented throughout 2025 by and community partners. 🤩🥳

What a turn out we had last Sunday for the screening of 'Call of the Forest' at the O'Brien theatre!
Diana Beresford-Kroeger's call to action in the film invites us to plant native trees in our communities. She asks us to pledge to plant one native tree every year for rebuilding our ecosystems and countering climate change. This small ask has a huge impact!

Save the Grove Again wants to support this initiative by making the planting of native trees as easy as possible in our region. Behold the Plant-a-Tree Drive!

🌲 Eastern White Pine bare root saplings: $5 each
🗓️ Available: Starting April 26th

We hope to offer other trees and plants in the future but decided to focus on the Eastern White Pine to start because of how quintessentially important this tree is to the Ottawa Valley as a whole, and more specifically to Gillies Grove. Here's how you can get yours:

Trees can be picked up at The Great Arnprior Trash Hunt Saturday April 26th. Meet at the Arnprior Museum at 9:00am (event details) to pick up your hunting kit as well as your sapling!

Not able to make it on April 26th? No problem! We can accommodate alternative pickups as needed. With your sapling we will provide instructions on how to plant and care for your new tree.
