The Assiniboia and District festival Congratulates Byeolha Seo on his first place finish in two provincial classes representing Assiniboia and District music festival.

Thank you to all the volunteers of the music festival. It takes hours of work to ensure that the music festival remains an event that can be a part of this community. We hope to see everyone at the Music Festival's AGM on April 16th.

If you enjoyed the music festival or have ideas on how we can improve, please join us at the 121 steakhouse on April 16 @ 6:00pm for our AGM. We are only able to continue to provide a music festival each year with support from volunteers.

This will be our final day of the festival and we are making a change to the schedule. The start time remains at 9am and will only have a short break before continuing on instead of having an afternoon session.
We will start with Folk and Vocal which includes folk song or ballads, recital pieces, and art song. The next vocal performances will continue with a Concert Group, RCM, Canadian Repertoire, Soprano/Mezzo-Soprano/Contralto, and Tenor/Baritone/Bass classes. This is a great opportunity to take in our final session of our 2024 music festival. Admission is by donation and programs are available for $3 each.

Thank you to the performers for a wonderful fourth day!
We head into our fifth and final day of our musical festival tomorrow. However, there is a slight change to the schedule for the day. We start at 9am as scheduled but we will continue on and only take a short break versus having a break for lunch.

Thank you to all the performers of our last session for sharing their gift of music with everyone. Now we move on to the last session of our fourth day of our music festival at 7:00pm. This features piano, speech, and vocal pieces and it is a great way to finish off the evening before we go into our final day of the festival. Admission is by donation and programs are available for purchase for $3 each.

Our first session of the fourth day starts at 1:00pm, we have a several entries of string instruments for you to enjoy. This should be an amazing session with a wide variety of expertise to experience. Admission is by donation and programs are available for purchase of $3 per person.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Musical Theatre evening! Also thank you to all the performers for sharing your talent with everyone.
We are entering the fourth day of the music festival. Today we are featuring several instruments that have not been performed yet this festival. This definitely will be a great day to take in the musical festival.

What a wonderful session! Thank you to everyone that was able to attend to see our local talent in action. This evening session is a fan favourite. We are happy to see that we have 12 Musical Theatre songs entered into this years festival. Hope to see a great crowd! Also don't forget that anyone in attendance can vote for the Musical Theatre People's Choice Award.

During our Musical Theatre this evening our audience gets the opportunity to vote for their favourite Musical Theatre entry. This performer then receives the People's Choice Award. The award will be presented to them during our Stars of the Festival on April 28th.
