Well folks, the Jake Vaadeland & The Sturgeon River Boys visit to Athens is completed. So much fun hanging out with these 4 talented men. And the SHOW!!! Requests for them to come back were being placed.😊 Any fan who wished to meet Jake did so in the lobby. Time for a wee chat, a photo and an autograph. Thanks Jake, Joel, Jaxon and Jake. (Yes, two Jakes) 😆

"(September 12, 2024 - Toronto, ON) Fresh from his trek through Europe which included stops in Germany, Denmark, Netherlands and the United Kingdom, Jake Vaadeland will receive Road Gold Certification for his ‘Retro Man’ tour. Road Gold Certification is a recognition given to artists who have sold 25,000 tickets or more in a 12-month period in Canada. At 21 years old, Jake will be the youngest ever recipient to receive this distinction, which is awarded by the Canadian Independent Music Association. Past recipients of this Certification include Dean Brody, Brett Kissel, The Dead South, Arkells, the Sheepdogs & The Glorious Sons. The Road Gold Certification will be presented to Jake at The Dakota Tavern in Toronto, ON on September 23rd. The event also features a full performance by Jake Vaadeland & the Sturgeon River Boys."
