“Legend of the Rockies” was a captivating journey through time, unveiling the storied past of the mountains. Each vignette meticulously portrayed a different era, from the First Nations’ ancient traditions to the intrepid Swiss Guides. Guests were enraptured by a mesmerizing First Nations dance and blessing, followed by a stunning fashion show by Stephanie Eagletail. Every corner of the room was a testament to history, with highlights including a life-size replica of a train engine shrouded in fog, symbolizing the Arrival of the Railway. Authentic antique items like snowshoes, Tyrolean hats, and skiing gear added to the immersive experience. The ambiance was further enriched by polished logs and a faux boulder, evoking the spirit of the Swiss Guides. A small replica Teepee adorned with dream catchers, bow and arrows, and moccasin boots added to the authenticity, creating an unforgettable evening of history and culture in the heart of the Rockies.
