N&G came to Banff on a family vacation from Columbia, and decided to renew their vows! The sweetest couple and so in LOVE. This was their 12 year anniversary 💍💍

We had full SUN just moments before, and as the rain came in, and the sky began to darken, we had FUN with the moment.

Mountain life 🐻

From a distance, we saw a bear yesterday near the Fairmont Banff Springs golf course!

Always stay at a distance, or stay in your car if you see a bear!!

Be aware of your surroundings and carry bear spray even if going on short walks and hikes where there are other people.

Hike in groups of 4 or more.

Bold and Beautiful Lake Minnewanka💖 Tips for eloping here

Lake Minnewanka is a gorgeous location!!

We had an amazing elopement session with P&N who came over from Ontario. They met in school, and are super cuties and so in love!

We were thrilled to be there for them on their special day!

IMPORTANT Reminders for Lake Minnewanka:

🏔️It can be VERY busy in the summer.
🏔️Only recommend early or late in the season, and at off peak times, and mid-week. Even then parking can be tricky.
🏔️Arrange for transportation so you don’t have to worry about parking
🏔️Have a plan, or work with a planner (that’s me🫶😚) We have a lil secret spot to use.

There are so many beautiful viewpoints in Banff, and we know all the good spots!

Moraine Lake 🩵 When is the best time to elope at Moraine?!

A question we get all the time!

Remembering a beautiful day in August at Moraine Lake, with Angie and Michelle. The water is always so calm after it rains.

As much as we want to control the weather, the mountains are unpredictable. That being said, rain usually passes quickly, and can provide beautiful light and a moody atmosphere!

When is it the best time to elope at Moraine Lake?

Well, it depends on what you are looking for!

Snow on mountains? Choose early June.

Bright sun and warmer weather? Mid-July to end of September.

Moraine Lake is at a higher elevation, so there is a chance it can be cooler anytime of the season.

Top notch photos guaranteed any time of year!

Remember the access road to Moraine Lake is only open June - beginning of October. Weather dependent.
