I see music as a state of focus resulting in a cathartic release of negative energies through positive means. Music is a way of being, often misinterpreted, and is best experienced by dropping your illusion and seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts. This close-mindedness is often exhibited with heavy music like metal and it’s subgenres, being seen as chaotic or without reas

on... but chaos isn't always negative. My goal with my production is to put on heavy, artistic and passionate shows within Banff to help expand the music scene in this town and provide exposure for bands within the scene. If you are an artist within the heavy and artistic variety who would like your musical expression to experienced at a venue in Banff, let me know.

Now that I have a moment to do this, I want to thank everyone who came out to Canmore AMPfest on Saturday and helped to once again make our third year a great success! All the bands were fantastic, there was no drama, no bu****it, and despite having 14 bands in 12 hours, everything ended up running well and finishing on time. We couldn't have asked for anything else.

Thank you so much to our audio engineers Andrew Staygold and Lolo Jade, our stage crew Arn Smit and Bojan Cosic, and of course the illustrious Raffi T'ii for being the other half of this production every year that we do it.

We're doing an alternative/punk rock show at the new Banff Sizzlers to promote AMPfest this year and showcase some local talent! Our favourite Bow Valley punk rock trio REGAL FOUL will be headlining the night with support from a couple of our bands that will be performing at the festival, JONNY ROCKETMAN'S ATOMIC TANGO and CINCH! This one is a free show but we will be accepting donations towards the upcoming festival in July if you want to help support!
Let's get loud and have a good pre-festival party on THURSDAY, JUNE 20th!
Cheap beer, pool tables, local vibes and punk rock!
