A typical burns dinner includes a fine meal, music, Burns poetry, haggis and of course a dram at the beginning and one at the end. …with a few in-between!

Saturday evening, the Academy of Single Malt Whisky Explorers celebrated Scotland’s favourite son in true fashion and more!

All the elements of a fine tribute took place at Liberty North Banquet Hall, filled with whisky enthusiasts, excited to take in an epic tasting experience of an outstanding and delicious four course meal, a welcome cocktail and a whisky journey of four distilleries, in the Highlands, lowlands and Speyside, distilling regions of Scotland.

In addition, this whisky club, filled with generosity and kindness, took the words from Robbie Burns “Ole Lang Syne” to heart” ...”Lets take a cup of kindness yet”.
