Pourdad is a specialty coffee cart catering to pop-up events and gatherings throughout Halifax, Nova Scotia. It began from founder, Jasper Gayo’s combined love of coffee and being a dad. When his son was born, he sought out a way to turn his passion for quality coffee into a flexible business that would allow him to support his family and spend more time watching his little boy grow up. Today, I celebrate 6 wonderful years of marriage to my wife, Karen. My partner in life and in business. She’s been my biggest cheerleader, believing in me even when I doubted myself, and sharing every step of this incredible journey. 🎉🙂

It’s funny to think we didn’t even have a coffee cart at our wedding (talk about a missed opportunity!). 🫠

Fast forward to now, and we’re serving coffee side by side, building something that fills us with so much pride and gratitude. It’s been hard work, but it’s also been the most rewarding adventure of our lives.
