I hear you Trevor Allen Photography it’s not easy keeping up on social!

For all those who enjoy seeing my work, I’m sorry I hadn’t been posting. And I know I say that every year but it’s the only thing about my business I need to work harder on. Before this week I literally had only two wedding posts in the past 8 months!! This explains why I only have 11 more weddings to shoot this summer…and only 6 of them on being on Saturdays!! If you know anyone looking - that’s nearly 20 free Saturdays between now and the end of October. I’ll work to fill them with family shoots and classes but, really, it’s weddings that I should have filled them with.

Having shot around 400 weddings and having previously been a wedding planner for a decade at the Inn, weddings really are something I’m super comfortable with. I have so many weddings and family shoots to share - for the love of photography (and paying the mortgage), I’m setting aside 7:00-8:00 every morning to develop posts! Next up, the off-resort Cuban Wedding I shot in March!

SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING BORROWED... 🧶🪡

Our taupe crocheted vintage linen is truly something special. I bought this piece while garage saling a few years back from a lovely couple who were preparing to downsize. The woman and I got chatting. They had just celebrated their 50th anniversary - she brought me into her home to show her beautiful collection of tableware and linens. While she told me all about their years in their home, about their children & grandchildren, their celebrations - their life together - and about this bittersweet transition they were embarking on, I knew we met for a reason.

She had so many beautiful piece, I wish I could have bought them all. I bought this one, and a few other pieces but this one spoke to me. It exuberates love & happiness, and longevity. It was meant to come with me, so I could share all these vibes with you. This is your something old, and your something borrowed.
