Christmas at Venue 1906. Is there anything warmer and more festive?

As 2024 winds down, we have so much to be grateful for. So many people, choosing to share their most special moments with us. So many supporters, cheering our little family-owned business on. We are in the depths of an amazing, hectic, beautiful, busy, joy-filled (and a little exhausting) autumn and we couldn’t be more grateful to each and every client, guest, staff member, and vendor who helps us pull off gorgeous and unique weddings every weekend.

I am just slightly obsessed with this tablescape from the end of the night from a wedding last month. I don’t know who set it up like this - the couples’ photographer? A friend with an eye for documentary? Or was it a total accident? (Ok, unlikely.) But regardless, I feel like it perfectly encompasses everything a wedding should be at Venue 1906. The elegance of the decor, the realness of the half-eaten shared slice of cake, the party in the beer bottle and the champagne glass, and the tic-tacs.

Everything is beautiful, but we also party well.

Wait wait wait… was our last post actually more than 3 months ago?!? We’re still here, we promise!

(That said, we were just sitting on a beach in Mexico… if you emailed us and didn’t get a response yesterday or today, please reach out again!)

Our off-season has officially ended and soon, we’re swinging into the rhythm of planning meetings and vendor tours and - of course - weddings and we can’t wait!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! We are so grateful to all the couples who choose Venue 1906 and our family run business as the back drop to their wedding in 2023. We hope all your first Christmases are full of love and joy!
