One of my favourite trends is catching on… weekday weddings. I love them because they always feel less formal and it helps the couples relax and truly enjoy the moment in a venue they love. Plus hosting a wedding on a weekday can save a lot of money.

Trends: Pod seating. We love this because it makes for an intimate night while still surrounded by your closest friends and family. Food will be individual and possibly formal dinner service. No more dinner buffets for now. How about individual seating at the ceremony as well. Having a nice ribbon with a person’s name on it placed on the chair during covid times helps keep everyone safe and is a nice touch for your guests.

The Art of self care: Now that we have all had lots of time “sans makeup” it is great to take the time to nourish your skin. Our products are wonderfully gentle on the skin and made from all natural products. My favourite is the naturally nourishing cream which I use everyday to fight off dry skin. Love, love, love! It even works wonderfully for small cuts to assist with healing.

This may sound obvious but start your wedding planning early. Don’t say “oh we have lots of time to plan”... with the pandemic, many couples have postponed until 2022 so don’t be disappointed if your favourite venue is booked due to the extra couples wanting that same location for the same date. Start your planning early and book your officiant early too. :-)
