FRESH PICO 🍅 AND GUAC 🥑 IN THE FRIDGE ‼️

Hello how is your windy day going?

We have an idea for your dinner tonight: Molletes! And for sure, topping with pico and Guac‼️

You will need:
-Bread 🥖 (we used fresh baguettes from Emilio’s Mercato Italiano cut in half)
-Refried beans
-Meat (we used brisket, but any kind of meat would be awesome)
-Cheese (to melt)
-Pico and Guac on the top

“Its nacho ordinary day” 😅

Tuesdays night are perfect for a Mexican dinner (every day is perfect for Mexican dinner😅😅) and Berta General Store Crowsnest Pass have everithing to make it real!

Nachos are an easy, delicious and full of nutrients dinner for the family, the recipe is to easy to follow, you just need:

Tortilla Chips, Refried beans (just mash the cooked ones with salt and some oil and a splash of water), Cheese, and Pico de Gallo and Guacamole. You can add all the toppings as you like, ground beef, chicken, olives, corn (everything match with that) and don’t forget the sour cream!

And for sure, your favorite fresh Pico 🍅 and Guacamole 🥑 ‼️ And if you like that spicy end, we made a few with Jalapeño 🌶️🤤🥵 Run to grab some before they are gone 🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏻‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏻‍♂️‍➡️

Today and tomorrow, we celebrate Día de Mu***os, or Day of the Dead, a beautiful tradition in Mexico where we honor our loved ones who have passed away. This is a joyous celebration of life and remembrance, full of vibrant colors, delicious food, sweets, tequila, and flowers. We create altars with candles, flowers, photos, and the favorite things of our loved ones, inviting their spirits to come back from the beyond and visit us for one special night. It’s a time to remember, share stories, and feel close to those we miss.

Hey Crowsnest Pass ‼️

We still having 2 guacamoles left (I made them on Tuesday night) and they star getting a little brown on the top. The flavor is still delicious and fresh, is just the normal oxidation from the avocados. You can mix it all or just take out the brown top with a spoon.
