The Greenhill Jam was started to end the drudgery of a life led without music, the jam was started by Cierra Shortreed only a while ago and whilst she started it she lit a spark that set a little fire. The Greenhill Jam will go every wednesday for as long as we continue to peel our crusty curmudgeonly bodies off of our floral print couches, as long as there is romance, heart ache, and laughs to be had the Greenhill will provide the forum in which we articulate those things.

The Greenhill Jam

The Greenhill Jam was started as a place for people to create, a place for people to come and play music together, or solo, or just to express that inexplicable desire to be with other people and make music together. The Jam can take many forms with people playing solo (like an open mic), groups getting up and playing as a makeshift band, stories, poems, jokes, and various instruments round out the experience of what the jam has been and what it will continue to be. At the Greenhill Jam we try to create a safe environment for people to explore their craft and to perform their music/art.
