Went thrifting the other day and found this nifty water can. 🤩

I leave water in it all week till it's water day for the living room corner.

I do this so that the chlorine in the tap water can dissipate. Some sources say it takes 24 hours for the chlorine to evaporate from the water; while other sources say, it's unnecessary to do this as there's not enough chlorine in tap water to begin with.

Either way, I feel better leaving it out 😅

Did you know? There are two separate plants in this picture? The bright red top is a mutant that completely lacks chlorophyll. This species of cactus comes in red, yellow or orange pigmentation. It is grafted on to the second plant and gets all its nutrients from the plant below. (Head to my stories today to see how grafting is done)

Satin pothos or Scindapsus Pictus or Silver vine. Silver because of the silver patches of variegation (I'm always amazed by the metallic hues in plants).
