There is just something so magical about bringing together creatives from all different disciplines who align and create something incredible.
This shoot last March was so much fun. A great team of strong talented women (and one of favourite humans, Grace) created absolute beauty on this gorgeous earthy set at Preto Loft.

When you purchase handmade for your wedding accessories, hours of work go on behind the scenes to handpick each pearl and element that are used to create your jewelry!
I love freshwater pearls, but because they are a natural item, sometimes they are slightly misshapen, have scratches or are not properly drilled. I sort through every single pearl to separate the perfect from the not so perfect and only use these in your jewelry and accessories.
But, sometimes a design calls for an imperfect textured natural pearl and that's where these ones fit in perfectly! As we are a sustainable business, nothing is discarded and we always find a new use for something that needs a little more love!

Creatively, it was a really busy but beautiful year. I think our veils and accessories participated in over 38 photoshoots, honestly though, there could be more, I've lost count. The amount of seriously fun and inspiring pieces I got the chance to create and beautiful images that were captured of these designs have been nothing short of extraordinary.
Some of these shoots ended up on magazine covers and in British Vogue, others were featured in beautiful inspiration blogs like Grace Ormonde and some were just vanity projects to create magic. ✨
I hope I get to partake in at least a fraction of gorgeous editorials for 2025 (already have 3 on the books!), but I think I will have to limit how many I create for, as I'll be busy working on my next full collection. Also, I say that now, but hit me up with your gorgeous ideas and I'll be onboard! 😊

As the self proclaimed 'Queen of Bows', as soon as I saw the mood board for this gorgeous french countryside inspired editorial, I just knew that I had to create a larger than life french blue bow and dusty blue veil. It just had to happen. Paired with Catherine Langlois' gorgeous new Elle gown in a large floral burnout organza, it was a match made in heaven!
Yesterday's editorial was pure magic that was created by such an incredible team and featured the cutest real couple. It literally had me yearning to jet set back to France. I cannot wait to share the final images.

I am so blessed that my adornments get to be a part of so many beautiful editorial shoots throughout the year. 2023 was no exception and the creativity this year was off the charts!
Half of the designs in this reel were made specifically for the editorial shoots which allowed me to really get out of my comfort zone and create which is what I truly love to do! (And some might be part of the next collection which I am currently working on!)
