Pretty details with our Mariah hair comb and Zarah earrings.

I don't do flat lay styling, it's just something that I'm not confident at, so I usually shy away from it and let those that have the know do their thing. I can style a person, a house or a store, but give me a bunch of flowers, ribbon and stationery and I'm just lost.

However, this year I wanted to challenge myself and learn something new so I helped host a flat lay workshop with this past January and learned some tips and trips. I am slowly starting to feel a bit more comfortable with this type of styling.

When and I were on set for an editorial this past May, our skills were put to the test to style some of our accessories. When bestowed this task upon us, we both looked at each other, a little bewildered but said, "we got this!" We forged the century home we were shooting in for anything that fit the theme. Vintage books, dishware, an old fan etc and grabbed a few blooms and ribbon to create a little vignette featuring my earrings and hair comb and Justin's brooch and cuff links. I think we did a pretty good job! 💕

Who says you can't wear colour on your wedding day?
I'm so here for it! ✨

I have had the pleasure of styling this stunning Ines Di Santo dress twice this past season for two different editorials and styled it in two completely different ways. I knew the second time I shot this dress, it just demanded a coloured veil and earrings so that is what I did!

This beautiful pink toned sculptured gown truly is a work of art. It features feather flowers throughout in shades of pink, purple, white opal, yellow and mint. Scroll through for a photo of the floral details.

I created 2 coloured veils for this dress. The first being this fun mint number! This two piece veil features a short single layer and then a large floppy bow that perches on top. I also created a version of my Britney earrings featuring the same colour of stones as the dress crystals. I love when a gown inspires me so much that I can create complimentary accessories for it!

Hi! It's me and it's been awhile!

I feel like I haven't shown up on socials in a while, truth be told, this season has really given me a run for the money!

It's just me over here handcrafting every single veil, pair of earrings, crown and this season has been bonkers! I hit the ground running in April and I just haven't stopped! Between over 35 editorial shoots and 600+ orders, it's been a very very busy season. These two hands haven't stopped! I did make some time for myself though and ventured out to Alberta and Muskoka a couple of times for some quick getaways (and I finally have gotten myself back to the gym every morning for the past 2 months, yay fitness, I missed it!)

I still have a couple of months to go in the 2024 season, thank you to everyone who has supported my wee business this year, after 3 years of a very scary post covid reality, it feels great to be back! I promise I will be sharing some new beautiful content with you all soon, a much needed sample sample and hopefully a new collection in the new year once the 2024 season settles down!

This is art. Pure, opulent art.

On a beautiful day in May, a small but mighty team set out to the Saint George Mansion in Mississauga to create magic of epic proportions.

The mood board called for over the top drama, colour, luxury, maximalism, and bows. So many bows. The turnaround time was tight and I had a week to pull together some over the top looks (including coloured veils).

This bow birdcage veil had been rolling around in my brain for months and I just knew that this was the perfect opportunity to create it! I hand tied over 60 small white satin bows in 3 sizes of Mokuba ribbon and stitched them to our Smith veil silhouette. The veil is finished off with a large satin bow in the back.

I really am all about veils this season! (Get ready for a veil forward collection next year!)

When Paula and Maya shared with me the moodboard for their gorgeous spring editorial, it was very floral forward (as we do for spring) and I had this floral veil rolling around in my brain for a few months and sketched it while I was in Cabo in December. I just knew that this was the perfect editorial for this veil.

The colour story featured shades of pinks and peach tones (my favourite colour combination!) and I wanted to incorporate those colours into the veil. For over 12 hours, I hand painted 70+ off white florals with shades of pink and orange to create an ombre effect on each bloom and then each flower was hand stitched to a cascading veil (a new silhouette!). I'm completely obsessed with this whimsical design and would love to create it in other colour combinations (hint hint).

Yesterday was exactly what my soul needed. 💞 It's been a rough few days and I just needed to get out of my head and create something beautiful. We shot this gorgeous editorial at the stunning atelier of Silk Row Bridal and featured modern gowns by The Law, from their current trunk show at Silk Row (on until Sunday!). Each look was paired with my veils and accessories. It was pure bliss. Our stunning models Kat and Izzy were captured by the unreal talents of @chelsea.gurr with beauty by the sweetest Gaenor. As the self proclaimed 'Queen of Bows', as soon as I saw the mood board for this gorgeous french countryside inspired editorial, I just knew that I had to create a larger than life french blue bow and dusty blue veil. It just had to happen. Paired with Catherine Langlois' gorgeous new Elle gown in a large floral burnout organza, it was a match made in heaven! Yesterday's editorial was pure magic that was created by such an incredible team and featured the cutest real couple. It literally had me yearning to jet set back to France.
