Christmas Fruit Cakes are ready! You may have grown up thinking you don't like Fruit Cake, but believe me, they weren't made like this. Our cakes take us almost 3 months to make. We load them up with real nuts, real fruit and a LOT of premium bourbon. Like, more than you might think. Let's just say these cakes are...well preserved.
These beauties are $42 each and will send you back to old-country times with their quality. Cut thin, you can hold them up like little pieces of stained glass.
You must be 18 years old to purchase a Fruit Cake...we don't even let our staff buy them unless their parents come in if they are under age. For real.
Also, maybe don't drive after eating a couple slices.

We love you guys, too. 🫶 Over the course of the last year or so, we've expanded our dining room and poured our hearts and souls into daily breakfast, Sunday brunch and catering large events. Recognition from our community in over a dozen categories means a lot to us.
We have so much work left to do, but we want to thank everyone who has supported us, voted for us, and gave us a place your table. ❤️ We hope to serve you all again soon!

We have literally HUNDREDS of incredible educators in this little village. Let's help them bring smiles to their students!
We're looking for a teacher or educator (or 2!) who has up to 30 students that would be interested in decorating gingerbread cookies with their class, on us!
Nominate a teacher you think would love this (either by tagging them, or sending us their name via DM). 🫶 Please let us know how many students are in the class.
We'll take it from there! 1 or 2 teachers will receive a delivery of cookies, icing in bags, seasonal sprinkles and decorations for the entire class.
Not all teachers/educators are equipped to deal with this in their lesson plans, so if you're not sure if it's their thing, please be sure to message them first.

'Tis the season! Treat boxes with all the Christmas goodness you can handle! Call 204-721-0719 ext 3 to place an order for 20 for $29, 40 for $55 or 80 pieces for $95.
These boxes are filled 100% with treats we make in house, from scratch, including toffee sponge, shortbread cookies, fudgey peppermint brownies and the best Nanaimo bars outside Nanaimo (according to a customer of ours from Nanaimo!).

Grab a loaf of our Roasted Pumpkin Hearth Loaf today. Because a Grilled Turkey Harvest Sandwich is everything you love about the season in one bite.
Here’s how you can make one at home:
🥖 Start with our house-made Roasted Pumpkin Hearth Loaf, buttered and perfectly grilled.
🧀 Spread creamy goat cheese for that tangy goodness.
🍗 Layer warm tender roasted turkey slices for a savory touch (pick some up at The Tendercut).
🍎 Optional (but recommended): fry up some apple with a bit of butter and brown sugar and top the turkey with it.
🌿 Add baby spinach for a crisp, green balance.
🫐 Finish with some cranberry mayo (2 parts mayo to 1 part cranberry sauce) for a sweet-tangy finish.

Today, we are honored to prepare a special meal for those stationed in Shilo who serve our country, and as such, our staff are in early preparing.
Our café will be open today from 9am-4pm, and we will observe a moment of silence at 11am.

Savory items and delectable desserts are what we do. We are a small bakery that’s creating local jobs and happily supporting local growers and producers whenever possible, so that they, too can help grow our local economy.
We use fresh, raw ingredients and make no sacrifices in our selection. You can taste the difference in the chocolate we use, the buttercream icing we make, or in our all-butter crusts for pies, tarts and quiches. You can see the passion we put into every layer of pastry dough and butter that we roll and fold, roll and fold over and over again to make the best croissants, pain au chocolat, danishes and other treats in Westman.
We do our best to package our goods in environmentally sustainable ways. Whenever possible we use unbleached, non-painted and compostable bags, boxes and wraps.
