As many people know by now, The Tack Room ( grooms cottage ) burned down a couple months ago. Almost everything pertaining to my business including my massive wedding tent was destroyed. At this time, until I’m able to regroup and rebuild, I will not be taking any further bookings. I will post updates.

I should edit to add…thank you to my 28 couples in 2024 /2025 seasons for being so understanding whilst refunds were being issued.

ANY GUESTS / CLIENTS FOUND SNEAKING ALCOHOL / CONSUMING ALCOHOL NOT PURCHASED AT THE HAPPY HOUR VENUE BAR WILL REMOVED IMMEDIATELY FROM THE PREMISES.

ANY GUESTS / CLIENTS FOUND SUPPLYING A MINOR PERSON WITH ANY TYPE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO AUTHORITIES AND REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES.

Due to the increasingly high numbers / situations of theft and vandalism, The Painted Window has been recently fitted with surveillance cameras. Guests found to be stealing from the venue or damaging property drinking alcohol smuggled in within a personal vehicle, will be reported immediately to the police and the clients hosting the event will be billed accordingly and the event will be IMMEDIATELY SHUT DOWN.

3 years of re-zoning and thousands of dollars. 2 years of securing my commercial liquor license and thousands of dollar. Countless meetings with health inspectors & municipality figures and thousands of dollars. Thousands of dollars sunk into engineers for my parking lot variances etc. and every single penny I had put into this property !!!! It’s beyond sickening to me the theft, vandalism, etc that has been going on. I have spent too many years and every dollar I have to turn this property / business into what it is currently to see so much disrespect and blatant disregard go on with the majority of the weddings.

It’s shocking and ITS DISGUSTING behaviour, and it blows my mind that a guest will so easily put my business and livelihood in jeopardy !!!! AND IT WILL COME TO AN END !!!
