Thank you to those who have contacted me to let me know that my website at rustygriswold.ca is currently offline. I host the website out of my house, and the neighborhood has been experiencing a hydro outage since about 9:30 a.m. this morning. Once Burlington Hydro brings back hydro, the website will return.

Dear friends, neighbours, and loyal visitors,

For the past decade, it has been my absolute joy to share the magic of the Rusty Griswold Light Display with all of you. Watching so many of you return year after year has been a true highlight of the holiday season for my family and me.

After much thought, I’ve decided to take a break from the display this season. Your continued support and excitement over the years have been truly heartwarming, and while my lights won’t be shining this year, I encourage you to visit the other amazing displays in and around the Burlington area.

Thank you all for understanding, and I look forward to bringing the magic back during next year’s holiday season in 2025.

We have decided to end the show for the year. I want to say THANK YOU for all of the donations to SickKids. Our final total is $2,220!!!

Sorry to report that tonight's show (New Year's Eve - December 31) is cancelled. It appears to be the result of an unfortunate wildlife vs extension cord incident. Thankfully, the power was NOT on during the time the cord was chewed through.

Tonight (Dec 30) and tomorrow night (Dec 31) are the final nights we accept donations for the SickKids Foundation that will qualify for a tax receipt in 2023.

When writing this post, we are $105 away from our goal of $2,000! Thank you to all who have donated this year. Every dollar of your donation is going to a charity that helps kids be kids! Our total raised almost guarantees our partnership will continue next year between the Rusty Griswold Light Display and SickKids, an organization we are proud to support.

Donation highlights from this year include donations received from Calgary, AB, Canada and two international donations; one from France and one from Mexico! The Rusty Griswold Light Display is truly international now...WOW!
