At the heart of Zayden’s Winter One-derland was the family’s wish for everyone—especially the children—to leave saying, "This is the greatest party I've ever been to!"❄️🎉
Guests were greeted by winter fairies & a live pianist, setting the magical tone for the celebration. ✨ Guests could capture formal moments at the portrait studio or step into the whimsical world of a digital photo booth located at the end of a crystal tunnel shimmering with lights. 💫
Entertainment was nonstop with interactive dance, top shot hockey, bubble hockey, air hockey, VR pods, alpine racer & extreme snowboarding! 🎮🏒 For the creative kids, there were arts & crafts like 3D snowflakes, sock snowperson, snow globes, & pompom penguins. The little ones also enjoyed the bubble pool, soft play & bouncy castle, plus meeting Elsa, Olaf, & the balloon pixies! 🎈
The fun didn’t end there—we had a live magic show, pony rides and snow fell as Zayden made his entrance and during the cake cutting, creating a truly magical moment! ❄️
For the grand finale, Vegas-style showgirls performed at midnight to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday!💃🎉✨

✨ For the décor in the main ballroom, we wanted to create the perfect balance between a kids’ celebration and a party for the adults. 🎉❄️
We filled the backdrop with stunning balloon décor 🎈, chic lounge furniture, and beautiful table settings featuring crystal candelabras sprayed with snow, crystal candles, crystal chargers, and ice-blue napkins with snowflake napkin holders. The tables were topped with soft cotton snow, adding to the wintery vibe. ❄️☃️
Overhead, a magical ceiling installation of balloons, clouds, crystals, and flocked trees brought the theme to life. Every décor element was sprayed with snow and covered with cotton snow, while the palm leaf and branch centerpieces were sprayed white for that perfect frosty touch. 🌨️✨
The LED dance floor was a hit for the kids’ magic show and interactive dance—and later, it was the perfect spot for the adults to dance the night away! 💃🕺 The reflection of the ceiling installation and all-white lighting made the dance floor even more magical. ✨🎈❄️

I love being fully involved in designing every aspect of my events, & many of my industry friends have been pushing me to really "Show My Work" and what I do behind the scenes—this party is the perfect example! From the decor & florals to the stationery, signature drinks, dessert bar & so much more every detail was crafted with care.
The first draft of the mood board shared with the clients was 75 pages, offering options for blue color schemes, 6 different floor plans, & various design elements. After four iterations, the final version included all the proofs & carefully curated ideas.
The final mood board for Zayden’s Winter One-derland birthday was packed with every detail from the event! While it’s been condensed for this post by half, it still showcases the complexity & creativity behind the planning of this magical celebration. ❄️☃️

✨ Ending my last event series of the year with the first event of this year—one of my absolute favorites to plan and design! Zayden’s Winter One-derland birthday party was a dream to bring to life, and I’m excited to share the process behind it. ❄️☃️🎉
💼 This series will be a Mini Master Class in Planning & Design and my thought processes. So much goes on behind the scenes that most people don’t realize—the amount of work, design, and logistics that come together is incredible. With multiple ballrooms, 37 vendors booked, and about 100 vendors & venue staff working tirelessly on the day, it was an event of layers and complexity.
I only had 3 months to plan and design the event, and we executed a 2-day setup, collaborating with an amazing team of vendors to bring it all to life (although 3 days would’ve been perfect! 😅).
I prioritize quality over quantity, choosing to take on a limited number of events each year. This allows me to dedicate the time and attention needed to perfect every detail and create truly unforgettable celebrations. ✨
It all started with the invitations! I designed them on Canva, providing several options until we found the one that resonated most with the family. From there, I uploaded the final design to Greenvelope (my favorite platform for digital invites!), adding all the event details and even incorporating music to set the tone. 🎶
