Mark your calendars! On July 26 -27th, 2025, history will be made as the NASCAR Canada Series races at Calabogie Motorsports Park for the very first time!

An unforgettable weekend with on-site camping, stadium track racing and grandstands for the ultimate spectating experience.

Thank you for your wisdom, your support, your patience and above all, your love for this community.

We wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the dedication Jane brought to and the opportunities given to many of us to chase our dreams in an industry we love.

Whether it was a casual chat in the office, strategizing for the next big event, or a quick shout across the parking lot, Jane was the gatekeeper to CMP known as our Track Mom. Her scooter rolling down pit lane didn’t need to be the biggest or fastest vehicle in the paddock to carry more presence than a thundering field of race cars screaming down the straight (within sound of course)

Your legacy, passion and dedication will live on in the hearts of the community that you were so integral in building.

Rest in peace, Jane.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Jane Blinn, a cornerstone of Calabogie Motorsport Park and a beloved figure in the motorsports community.
Jane joined CMP at its inception in 2006, and her leadership, vision, and dedication were instrumental in shaping the track’s success and stellar reputation. As the driving force behind our day-to-day operations, her commitment to excellence made CMP a place renowned for its client-first approach and welcoming atmosphere, earning respect and admiration throughout the motorsports world.
Jane was affectionately known by staff and many clients as their “track mom.” Her warm, mothering instinct was ever-present and deeply appreciated, offering comfort and support to everyone who had the privilege of working with her. She had a unique way of making people feel valued and cared for, whether through a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or simply her reassuring presence.
Jane was a fighter in every sense of the word. During her courageous battle with a rare autoimmune disease and cancer, she would sign off messages with “tough cookie” emojis—a phrase that perfectly captured her strength and determination. Yet, for those who knew her, Jane’s warmth and kindness shone just as brightly. Her ability to connect with everyone she met left an indelible impression on tens of thousands of people over the years.
To meet Jane was to encounter a rare joy; her warmth and charisma were instantly disarming. To work with or for her was a privilege—an opportunity to grow under her guidance and witness her unwavering dedication to excellence. But to call Jane a friend was truly profound; she left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her, offering a depth of connection that was as inspiring as it was impactful.
Event days at CMP will never be the same without her presence. Jane’s office was often the busiest spot, with a line of visitors waiting to catch up and connect. She brought out the best in people, offering guidance, a listening ear, and second chances when they were needed most.
A private service will be held. Close friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life to honor Jane’s life and legacy on Friday, November 29th with details available at the link below. In early 2025, a much larger gathering will take place at Calabogie Motorsports Park—Jane’s second home—to bring together all who wish to honor and celebrate her remarkable life.
Jane Blinn was more than a leader; she was our anchor, our confidant, and the heart of CMP. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

To every dedicated marshal and volunteer, thank you for being the backbone of Calabogie Motorsports Park. Without your commitment and passion, from corporate events to race weekends, test days to lapping nights, our track couldn’t run as smoothly, or as safely, as it does. Rain or shine, you’re there—guiding, informing, and keeping our drivers safe. And when there’s a chance to give back at charity events, you’re always among the first to raise your hand.

Your hard work makes it all possible, and we’re endlessly grateful. 🙏

Congratulations to Slate Racing driver and co-founder Megan Tomlinson on representing Canada at the FIA Motorsport Games!!
Today’s opening ceremony welcomed athletes from around the world as they prepared to compete for their countries.

Megan will be taking on the Touring Car competition, racing for Team Canada 🇨🇦. Slate is excited for Megan and we know she will do Canada proud.

🚗 Wow! What an Incredible Day at Calabogie Motorsports Park! 🍂

We are absolutely blown away by the sheer power of community that was on full display yesterday. With amazing weather and the spectacular fall colors surrounding us, over 800 people came out to support the Jennifer Edmonds Memorial Fundraiser, and it was nothing short of magical.

A HUGE thank you to the 50+ volunteers, coaches, marshals, friends, and family who donated their time, both in the weeks leading up to the event and all day yesterday. Your hard work and dedication made this event possible!

We are also so grateful to everyone who donated to the silent auction, especially those who contributed some truly fantastic handmade and heartfelt items that made it all the more special.

Special shoutout to and , who cooked and served food all day—your support fed both our hearts and stomachs! 🍻🍔

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of this incredible community, we are thrilled to announce that together, we nearly doubled our goal and have raised approximately $45 000 for the Edmonds family! 💙
