Congratulations to Tawnya Brant, Alumni of Distinction in the Entrepreneur Category.

Tawnya is a well-recognized chef who proudly celebrates her culture through food and cooking. She started her career as a freelance support chef, helping others open everything from family-owned restaurants to prime franchise restaurants. After studying Aboriginal Small Business Management in 2015, she started her business Yawékon by Chef Tawnya Brant

She uses the knowledge gained from growing up in Six Nations of the Grand River Territory and uses time-honoured ingredients fusing Haudenosaunee dishes with other global cuisine.
