Hi, I’m Amanda! 👋 I’m the owner and lead planner at Day of Diva, and I couldn’t be prouder to run this amazing business. 💕

As we gear up for our 6th wedding season, I’ve been reflecting on what an incredible year 2024 has been. From working with the most amazing couples to seeing my passionate team thrive, it’s been truly inspiring to watch everything come together and witness the growth we’ve achieved.

A little about me:
✨ I’m a wedding planner who eloped—yep, no big wedding for me! (It’s always fun to see people’s reactions to that one.)

🧘‍♀️ When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll usually find me in the yoga studio working on my practice, with a dream of becoming a yoga teacher someday.

🏔️ I’m all about the mountains—snowboarding, camping, rock climbing—you name it, I’m there!

Running this business is truly one of the greatest joys of my life, and I’m so excited to see what the future holds as we move into 2025 and beyond.

Pro Tip for Brides-to-Be: If you’re dreaming of a sparkler exit, make sure to check with your venue first to confirm it’s allowed (some venues have restrictions due to fire safety). Then, opt for long sparklers—they burn slower, giving you and your guests plenty of time for that picture-perfect moment. Don’t forget to designate a helper to organize the crowd and safely distribute lighters!

🎉 Day of Diva Turns Five!🎉

Wow, what a journey it’s been. Five years ago today, Day of Diva was born, and I can still remember sitting in front of my computer, starting an Instagram account and page, thinking this would be a fun little side gig while I did something else. Little did I know that this “side hustle” would become my passion, my purpose, and my full-time dream.

In the beginning, it was just me, a one-woman show, trying to navigate the complex world of weddings and figure out how to run a business at the same time. I will forever be grateful to those first few clients who took a chance on me and trusted me with one of the most important days of their lives. Without your belief, I wouldn’t be here today. 💛

After that first year, I made a leap and hired my first team member, the incredible Monica, who many of you remember worked with me for three years. Two years in, I took the plunge and went full-time with this after being fired from another job. That push (thank goodness) was exactly what I needed to commit fully. Without that nudge, I don’t know if Day of Diva would be where it is now.

As we grew into a team of three, we also added our amazing Decor Divas to assist with setup and teardown, which allowed us to expand our services and take our weddings to the next level. Today, Day of Diva has grown into a team of four planners, three assistants, and six incredible Decor Divas. Over time, we revamped, evolved, and I’m beyond proud to work alongside the amazing ladies you see in this photo. This team is truly the heart and soul of Day of Diva. 🌸

I never imagined I’d fall this deeply in love with a job. Every couple, every event, every moment has been a blessing. I’ve also had the privilege of building incredible relationships with vendors who have supported and helped shape Day of Diva into what it is today. Our partnerships mean the world to me, and they’ve been instrumental in making the magic happen. ✨

Through all the ups, downs, uncertainties, and moments of doubt, I am so grateful for what we’ve built. Day of Diva is not just a business; it’s a dream come true. Here’s to the next five years and beyond 💜

Being a business owner comes with its fair share of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The best part of my job is connecting with our incredible couples and making a lasting impression on their wedding day. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing their joy and knowing I played a part in their special moments.

I also love growing our team and sharing this amazing industry with our passionate coordinators. Together, we make each event truly special.

When I’m not wearing all the hats of a business owner, you can catch me embracing the great outdoors. Whether it’s running, walking my dog, biking, hiking, camping, or rock climbing with my husband, I’m all in! Give me some sunshine, and I’m there, soaking up every bit of it. 🐾🚴‍♀️🧗‍♀️
