When the "Pearl of the Orient Cuisine" was introduced in 2017, it was a breakthrough collaboration. A couple more breakthroughs in 2018 when also "Balik Kultura" (Going Back To Our Roots) was introduced. -highlighted Culinary Excellence and tourism with the" Philippine Cuisine Festival Gala"

In 2019, REKADOS-TMI & DAS also crafted a platform for food industries and restaurants in Alberta. DAS and REKADOS-TMI promoted "Restaurants' Parade of Philippine Cuisine," where 12 Food Establishments in the Southern part of Alberta (Calgary, Banff, Canmore, Airdrie and Okotoks ) served 12 Authentic Regional dishes and Filipino cuisine around the community for the entire month of June.

This NOVEMBER 16, 2021 6:00 PM, GlobalFest Flavours is excited to welcome our guest chefs for FALL 2021 Filipino cuisine feature: Paul Vincent Esmeria of Paul’s Kitchen & Catering Services and Norben Sayon of Quatro Asian Bistro.

Paul is head chef and owner of Paul's Kitchen Banff - a local, family food business that celebrates family, culture, community through food. He loves to share the passion for good food with friends and neighbours in the Bow Valley. Husband and father of two, he is also one of the Board of Directors for the Philippines Culinary Federation of Canada.

Norben is Head Chef and owner of Quatro Asian Bistro, an Asian fusion restaurant, which combines the various cuisines of different Asian countries, regions and sub-regions with a western taste, resulting in serves an exquisite mixed Asian Cuisine. Norben has two youngsters with his wife, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the Philippines Culinary Federation of Canada.
Featured Chefs SPRING are Fercibal Robles Brown of CarverChefBrown (Calgary) and Gilmars Bacani of Village Way Kitchen (Calgary).
