Although it’s a team effort he’s the spearhead of our hand made shields and is involved in almost every step of the process on any given shield.

Not only is he responsible for the actual construction of the shield
But he also hand paints family coats of arms and historical heraldry on almost every shield we make

These too are locally made.
Leather is either tooled or engraved by laser , dyed and sealed , hand stitched into one of two designs (belt or back) and then assembled
On average they take about a week to complete with the various stages and drying time involved

Each set is spine and weighted to within a pound of drawl weight. And because each arrows is almost identical to the rest of its set both in weight and construction your accuracy is higher.

Custom archery quiver being built today, This design has taken just over 6 hours on our lazer table . I don’t even wanna guess how long this would have taken to do by hand ! Technology is amazing !

Found an exciting new toy , well actually it’s a really old toy we almost forgot we had. This leather embosser will allow us to quickly add a textured detail to things like belts or tbd strapping on a shield of archery quiver !

Hanging out with our friends at the costume shop and we have some exciting news

Use of a laser table is far from perfect… Case and point we are re running this custom archery bracer to properly etch the artwork , It’s still an amazing tool that allows us to add amazing detail at a fraction of the cost of doing it by hand

Without a doubt this Is one of the most complex designs undertaken by us , and it’s has historical lineage to the 1800s which is an added level of epic This custom leather piece is a rush so likely will come together fast, more updates to come We hope they love it!

Showing off the highly elaborate detailing on our most recent archery quiver . Inspired by some original artwork from the 1800s Check back later today , will be posting more photos of this once she’s fully assembled !

Custom leather archery bracer nearing completion on the laser table. This design takes about an hour and a half to complete !

Well start of a new year and we are back into full swing with production Our Laser Table is a great tool that allows up to burn in highly complex designs into leather and wood without the cost and time of doing so by hand, Which is great for lower cost items like these leather journals !
